My self-summary
I look for the simple and wonderful in life. Finding joy in whatever this life throws my way.
I am a Christian and deeply committed to my God. My faith is, by far, the most important thing in my life. Being a child of God is the core of who I am and the fact that Jesus died to make that happen just blows my mind. I am thankful, amazed and undeserving all at once.
I have been likened to Pam Beesly on more than one occasion. I lived in Japan as a missionary for a year. I can't begin to explain how wonderful it was. I love Star Trek (TNG) and am obsessed with Doctor Who. I am highly imaginative, so that the fact that there is a show about traveling through space and time was perfection in my eyes. I am a huge fan of the BBC and have been since childhood. My mother was convinced it was a phase. But Top Gear and The Office have shown otherwise.
I have a deep passion for books. I watch am a wealth of movie knowledge. And I'm completely hipster when it comes to my music. rereading this I seem so cookie cutter. i assure you that I am anything but. =)
What I’m doing with my life
I work full time, go to school full time, serve at church when I can, and spend quality time with my lovely family and friends. It's a difficult life, but someone has to live it.
I’m really good at
terrible jokes
quoting movies and tv
being generally awkward
clever quips and witticisms
encouraging (usually with sarcasm, believe me, it works wonders)
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to have a warm and welcoming personality. I'm one of those weird people that you feel as if you've known forever, but we've only known each other a small while. I get that a LOT.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I love Christian apologetic and theology books, Ender's Game, Wheel of Time, Pathfinder, Silver Linings (not the movie...uuugh), The Elegance of the Hedgehog, The Book Thief, The Giver.
Movies: Robin Hood Men in Tights, Die Hard, Kindergarten Cop, The Breakfast Club, TMNT (all three), the Lego Movie and many many more
TV: psych, doctor who, top gear, parks and rec, star trek, the office, American horror story, big bang theory
Food: American sushi, yakisoba, ramen, bulgoogi, good American home cooking, and Qdoba, Indian curry,
I have yet to find a place that serves bulgoogi but it will be discovered, I promise. Best. Stuff. Ever.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
My thoughts are usually all over the place. I like to observe people and behaviors, that is usually running through my head.
Or thinking about how awesome God is and His Word.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working and hanging out with my cousin and her daughter.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I have one of these thingys.
