I'm a guy's guy, raised by parents who know that chivalry is not
dead. I spend a lot of time in the gym. Two years ago I decided to
change my life, I weighed 320 lbs. Today I'm 120 pounds lighter and
enjoy helping others achieve their fitness goals. I've recently
gone back to school. It's never to late. Or so I've been told. I
work a full time day job and have a full class schedule at night.
Mix in making time for the gym and that leaves precious little for
What I’m doing with my life
I've learned that tomorrow is the best time to worry about
tomorrow. Embrace the present and flirt with the future. Because we
never know what tomorrow may bring.
I’m really good at
Fixing things. Only because I'm exceptionally clever at finding new
and interesting ways to break stuff, haha. I've been working with
my hands since I was knee-high to a grass hopper. I love projects
big and small, except assembling Ikea purchases. I abhor the cheap
quality. My dad taught me to "Repair NOT Replace"
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I look like a meathead. Haha! Probably because I am. Or
that I'm loud. Or it could be my shoes. I often wear beat up shoes
because their so damn comfortable. I mean, come on, I just finished
breaking them in.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books, I love to read. I prefer epics, sagas, and authors who write
a series. Orson Scott Card - especially Ender's Game. Anne Rice.
Dave Sherman and Daniel Cragg. Robert Jordan, may he rest in peace.
Dan Brown. Let us not forget J.K. Rowling, I'm def a Harry Potter
Geek. Don't judge me
Movies, typical guy productions and some not so typical alpha male
movies. Faster disaster, gratuitous nudity, action, violence,
zombie flicks. Old westerns, McClintock, Quigley Down Under. Just
about anything animated by Disney or Pixar. And musicals. Yes,
musicals. The decline of our society may be directly linked to the
diminished production of quality musicals.
Music, yeah I dig tunes. Do I know the artists names or even song
titles? Nope. Rock, country, 80's, 90's, old school gangster rap,
I'll always be a fat kid at heart, er stomach. Haha. I eat just
about anything. At least once, anyway.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order. Water. A good book. My motorcycle. Peanut
butter. West coast sunset. Football season.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What can I cook in my rice cooker that isn't meant to be cooked in
On a typical Friday night I am
I can be found anywhere from barnes&noble to searching for a
new sushi bar. But, more often than not, I am catching up on
whatever book I recently bought on my Nook.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like musicals. I'm quite sure we can link the decline of modern
society to Hollywood's lack of producing quality motion picture
You should message me if
All I want is a woman who re-racks her weights, won't eat the last
of my peanut butter, and always makes sure I have a clean shaker
cup. I don't think that's asking too much.
