I am a highly energetic, fun-loving, single Leo lady, originally from Philadelphia, currently serving in Washington, D.C.

I have lived in South America, East Asia, and North Africa, but my regular beat is the Middle East. My travels have ranged broadly throughout Europe, Central America, Near East Asia, Africa as well as throughout the good ole' U.S. of A.

A photographer, poet and artist, I seek new ways to view the world and express myself creatively, which includes my passion for cooking. I am motivated by new challenges and discoveries and consider my life experience a never-ending adventure of mystery and revelation.

Movies: An eclectic movie fan, I enjoy mysteries, dramas, science fiction as well as action-packed thrillers. I love Star Wars and, of course, The Matrix and Terminator series. Regarding television: I watch Star Trek whenever I get the chance, but right now I'm hooked on CSI, House, Numbers, and the jazz channel.

Music: My collection consists mostly of world beat music, yet includes Bach, Bela Fleck and Bob Marley as staples. Although my heart belongs to Santana, don't be surprised at the Tibetan Buddhist or Gregorian chants, African drumming and wild gypsy love songs you will find on my shelves as well.

Food: Okay, I confess that I find my greatest fulfillment in cooking sumptuous meals for my friends and family to enjoy. However, I am not above cuddling up with a comforting box of Chinese takeout on cold and rainy days... Italian cuisine appeals to me far more than French and I have a worldwide reputation for my collection of spices that would be the pride of any chef. If I had all the time in the world to do whatever I wanted, you would probably find me making bread. Who doesn't love the aroma of fresh baked goods in the morning?
