Hi, my name's Shane and I'm no good at writing about myself.
That sounds like I'm introducing myself at an AA meeting.
I've changed an awful lot for the better over the last six or so months.
My friends are to thank for that. The little box on my Facebook page says, "Bored film snob turned hedonistic junglist. Thanks, guys."

To put it simply, I'm having the time of my life right now. I have great friends who I have a lot to thank for. I try to combat boredom with happiness and fun. The only thing that WAS missing is that special somebody.
But not anymore :)
Aside from having as much fun as possible, I'm currently studying for a law degree with the aim of becoming a barrister, but realistically speaking, I'll probably be a solicitor.
I want to specialise in criminal law.

Like the entire male population of the world, I think I'm the best driver ever.
I have a good memory, and I've got entire scenes from films memorised word for word, like a total dork.

I speak fast sometimes, but I'm not sure if people notice that.
Erm...I'm pretty tall. Maybe people take note of that. I just don't know.

My favourite author is Robert Rankin, but 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess, and 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell are two of my all time favourites. I should read more by Hunter S. Thompson; I've only read 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' after seeing the film.
As for music, I really like jungle and heavy drum 'n' bass. I also like the Prodigy, Oasis and anything good, but it's mainly jungle.
I love far too many films to list. My favourite director is Shane Meadows. Some of my favourite films of all time are Withnail & I, Trainspotting, American Beauty, Stand By Me, A Room For Romeo Brass.
TV: Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Brasseye and most satirical comedy if it's done properly.
As for food, the hotter the better. Drinks: I pretty much live on orange juice, but as for real drinks, I like Southern Comfort and Key West Cooler cocktails. Not in the same glass though.

My girlfriend, my car, friends, family, Facebook, erm...et cetera.

Everything. Too much.
University is taking up a lot of my capacity for thought at the moment, and that's a good thing.

Usually trying to enjoy my youth as much as I can, and getting into situations that will turn into stories I can tell to my grandchildren.
On most Friday nights I'll be out with my friends at a bar, a house party or at some kind of jungle/D 'n' B night. I like staying in with pizza and a film, too, when there's someone worth staying in with. That someone usually being my woman...AT LAST. She was hiding from me for a long time, but she was worth the wait ♥
