Fixing something: I hate waste, so I will try best to fix things, for example chair, lamp, computer, printer, lock, speaker... I really enjoy and proud of it.
Giving creative ideas: this is more related to what I do for my job, not only good looking on the visual base, but it has to have meaning in the behind.
Keeping track of something: I usually know where I put my things, even though my studio could be a bit messy.
For movies, I like all Stanley Kubrick's works, Jia Zhangke and Hou Hsiao-hsien's works, not a big fan of Hollywood stuff.
Since I am artist (i do make a living on that, not joking), I am kind of a nerd about art exhibitions, which makes a bit difficult to talk about...
For music, I like all kinds, to name a few: classical music - specially when Glen Gould plays Bach; jazz and blues: Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Keith Jarrett; folk: Tom Waits; reggae: Jimmy Cliff, lounge and electronica: Brain Eno, DJ Shadow, Air, Radiohead, Moby. Recently I am quite into oldies: bands like Beatles, U2, Bjork, maybe it's because I am getting old... Shanghaiese band Top Floor Circus is my favor too!
I like all kinds of food when it's well done, but hate that kind of restaurant only spend their money on deco! I wish the street food in Shanghai could keep the same level as when I was a kid. I think some small local noodle shop has higher values than some so called 5 star Michelin restaurant, since it's very hard to find and it seems only spread through a good reputation. I am always concerned about eating health though.
