i'm vivacious, passionate, and love dinners out with friends. but i'm also shy, humble, and treasure cozy nights at home. i love to dance to house music and i'm a dedicated groupie of my friends' bands. i love plants and dogs - i have a lot of the former and one of the latter. i care a lot about all people being treated right and about fighting for social justice in the little and big ways. i get giddy about karaoke and spearhead concerts and really good arugula salads and going to the beach. i have a big, complex, multiracial family and i love them a whole lot. i'm a devoted auntie and i love kids, though i don't know yet if i want to be a parent. i'm full-figured and beautiful, a good singer and a sometimes pool shark, i love van gogh and i play an instrument (i'll save which one for later). i love big as often as possible, i cry hard when it's in order, and i laugh out loud at every opportunity.

i don't drink, smoke, or do any drugs - i'm living a substance-free and very fun-filled life! if alcohol or drugs are important to you or a significant part of your life, we're probably not a fit. but if you're willing not to do them or be on them when you're with me, then feel free to be in touch!

i work at an urban farm in boston - two years ago i made the switch from grantwriting to this new career. i am so happy that i did! i'm hoping to use my skills and passions to transform our food system - especially in urban communities. i do still do a little grantwriting on the side.

i rarely buy new furniture or shoes, but will gladly spend $40 on an incredible meal - IF i have it to spend. i love to be in nature, and help preserve it, and i am trying to balance that with the love of my new Honda Fit.

i want to be practicing yoga and traveling but they've taken a back seat lately. maybe you can help me get back on the yoga mat and airplane?

i'm mixed, and feel very connected to both my black heritage and my scandinavian heritage. i love my diverse family and friends, and love that as an adult i've built a community around me that has lots of other mixed people and people of color in it.

i'm committed to having fun whenever possible! i have a corny sense of humor, and i am ready to laugh at all times!
