My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Optimistic person (but not foolishly so). I've been fortunate to have a good life so far and even more fortunate to be aware of it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Senior pursuing my Art History degree. Then the whole wide world will open up since I will have a B.A.! Oh, that's not true? Then I guess I'll be a barista and rudely interject customer conversations with my own, unsolicited opinions. Ahh, the dream!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Defusing tense/awkward situations. I think it's safe to say I'm an empathetic person and I don't usually get overly self-conscious. So if we were ever out and something embarrassing happened to you, I'd probably distract the crowd of angry townspeople with a humiliating (for me) jig while you slip out the back door undetected.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hair and smile. And that I typically don't have the "I'm nervous and getting to know a new person, so I'll be really quiet, etc." thing. So...that I'm generally outgoing?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Vonnegut, Hemmingway, Sedaris.

Coen brothers, Tarantino, Nolan.

Mad Men, Game of Thrones, New Girl.

A lot.

Even more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Cell phone, computer, shampoo, wool, school, and wine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The awkward realization that I'm probably not going to be using my degree after school. So...where to go from there. And, in the mean time, more light-hearted things as that's still a ways away.

Update: grad school it is...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually trying to find something to do. Not to say there's nothing to do; just that figuring out what to actually do can be tricky. First world problems, as they say.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I generally sleep naked. Especially in the Summer.

You're not "playing the numbers". And it really doesn't take that much effort to realize what I mean by that. Playing coy earns zero points, fellas!

Your pictures are not all Instagram-airbrushed to death. I get it, you want to convey yourself a certain way, but we wouldn't be hanging out at a photography studio if we meet, so being weird about photos is a flag to me. I'm sorry, but as the great Liz Lemon said: "That's a dealbreaker, ladies!"

And literacy is kind of important to me. I'm not demanding people read a novel every other day, but if you don't read...it's not good.
