My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I'm Shaina :)

Queer/cis & interested in meeting people of all genders.

I like to smile at people on the TTC, dance in strange places, wander without destinations, write poetry, snuggle animals, drink beer, and bake vegan chocolate chip cookies... alot.

Some things that are awesome:
-the smell of fresh laundry steam
-brushing your teeth outside
-virgin Shirley Temples, complete with cute little plastic umbrella
-having the bed made on top of you
-mixing batter with your bare hands
-Bohemian Rhapsody sing-a-longs
-pumpkin guts squishing between your fingers
-pretending to be a car on an empty road late at night
-drowning park visitors on Rollercoaster Tycoon
-peanut butter banana sandwiches with chocolate soymilk
-dancing naked in the rain
-Flintstones multivitamins no matter how old you are
-those moments when you're just in awe of how incredible and wonderful the world really is.

"Everything is a miracle. It is a miracle that one does not dissolve in one's bath like a lump of sugar." - Pablo Picasso
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The dream is to own a bakery/cafe/bar type deal where everyone will read poetry, sing, dance, eat yummy stuff and just generally be awesome together. A happy space to escape the mundane.

In the meantime I am in the process of changing my major in university for the 3rd time and trying to get caught up on my mountain of reading. :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not using my common sense, memorizing movie scripts, making faces and being silly in general, giving hugs.. and making vegan cookies.

I'm also terrible with directions... which could be interpreted as excellent at getting lost.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very smiley.
I like colours.
Also, "I don't know why, I just felt comfortable telling you that..." is something that I hear a lot.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-poetry
-sunshine
-rain, to dance in
-human connections
-my cat, Godot
-beer? :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Body positivity. Intersectional feminism. Gender & sexuality. Privilege & oppression. The fuckedupness of everything. The goodness in people. Food. Food. Food. Tattoos. All the minor details and choices in my life that unknowingly led me right to where I am today. "How can I make myself stop thinking?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Snuggled up with my cat watching Bob's Burgers. On tumblr reading articles & looking at pictures of pretty people. Drinking beer and having deep talks with a close friend. Having some kind of adventure. Baking cookies and eating almost the whole batch. Or some variation or combination of those options.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't blow up balloons, wink, or roll an "R". I'm also scared of riding bikes.

I get immense amounts of satisfaction from making eye contact with passing strangers on the street.
