My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like having fun - i've been called a hedonist and I am down with that. Not hedonist in the superficial sense of the word, but rather in the philosophical sense. If you like we can argue the term epicureanism here. I like both words. Essentially the greatest good can be obtained by seeking what makes you happy so long as you don't harm others. That means I can often be found do things purely for the joy of doing them. Laughing a lot is imperative.

You might call me a geek or nerd but labels are a thing I find curl up at the sides or leave an icky residue. I like to create characters both in a script and on a game board. I like to then make these characters costumes and take pictures.

On labels: You may have noticed my profile says I'm looking for everybody. Sadly that is the best choice okc has. To me that means I am not one to limit myself based on the binaries I grew up with. The rules don't apply here and I have loved persons from many labels.

Oh, and I'm definitely the shyest extrovert in the room.

My hair. You can't have all this color and not notice it. Unless I have on the bear hoodie. Then people get stuck on the ears.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter, LOTR and the Hobbit and the rest, historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy, books that describe worlds I'm not familiar with be it this world in another time or place or altogether different worlds. I reread Good Omens once a year

Movies: I like superhero/comic book movies, I like Tarantino films, dramas, zombie movies, post apocalyptic movies, comedies that are actually funny and not all spectacle, Shakespeare movies, princess bride gets watched once a year, I also like watching how movies were made - LOTR appendices are great

Music: I tend toward folk and Bluegrass sounds but I like a lot of what's around in the alternative world right now. I prefer music made with instruments that existed 75 years ago, but there's a special place in my heart for modern stuff too

Shows: I don't watch a ton of shows but I like dr who, firefly, downton abbey, bsg, sons of anarchy, and I'm working my way through all of star trek

I dislike "lolspeak". I will assume you are talking about little old ladies. Not a joke, it irritates me.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to laugh. You will be who you are and not who you think I want you to be.

I'm really bad at communicating via messaging for overly long. I need to know who you are as an actual flesh and blood human or I will lose interest. It feels a little shallow to say this but since communication is key then I would be remiss in not communicating it.

You can open with more than "How's it going?"
