My Self-Summary
I would say that I am not a typical girl in the sense that I am
super laid back, really easy going, and hate drama. I work full
time and I love to spend time with the people in my life,
therefore, I dont waste my time on people that are not top notch. I
love to laugh and can make fun of any situation. Overall, I am fun
and you would be silly not to ask me out!
What I’m doing with my life
I run a mentoring program and food pantry at a local non-profit. I
love my job and enjoy waking up everyday to go to work. There is
nothing better than having a job where you feel good after a long
day of hard work. I would love to stay in the non-profit sector,
however, I taught preschool for a while and am debating going back
on that route. Regardless, volunteering is a huge part of my life
and will continue to be so in the future.
I’m really good at
making people laugh, spontaneous activities, event planning,
volleyball, body surfing (I try at real surfing), yoga, and
cooking. also I am really good at being a friend, daughter, and
sister.
The first things people usually notice about me
my eyes. they say they look like cat eyes. or the fact that I am
tiny. I prefer to think of myself as "bite size." or that I am
always smiling.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
i love any kind of music, however, dave matthews is my favorite at
the moment. i just saw him in concert and i was amazed. I love
jason mraz, country music, kings of leon....i dont watch much tv
but i do love 24 and bones. those are my two shows. i love any kind
of food, but i am a sucker for pizza and beer. movies- too many to
name. but some of the few- shawshank redemption, zoolander, curious
case of benjamin cutton, the usual suspects
The six things I could never do without
my family, my best friend lisa, vitamin water, pandora, and the
computer so I can ichat with my siblings who live far away.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to make the world a better place, how to make the ones i love
smile, how to sleep better at night, how the hell i am going to get
a dog in my apartment, and where the love of my life is? or does
that even exist?
On a typical Friday night I am
either making dinner then walking down to the beach, having pizza
and beer with the roomie, going to a movie with a friend, the
possibilities are endless.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
The last time I got sick was because I went swimming in the ocean
at 2 in the morning on a first date.
