I'm fairly new to midtown (I moved here in November 2012). I have a lot of interests, and am always open to meeting new people, trying new things and pushing the boundaries of my “comfort zone”. I'm looking to meet fun, interesting local people. I'm pretty laid back and easy to talk to, I'm very sarcastic, I probably swear a bit too much, and I'll definitely make fun of you, so hopefully you can take a joke. If you can make me laugh and aren't afraid to act lame sometimes, we would probably get along.

I work full time in a law firm downtown. I am the Social Media Coordinator in my spare time for two local animal rescue groups. I fostered animals - big and small - for a few years before I moved downtown, and animal welfare and volunteer work in general are important to me.

I try to stay pretty active (biking, spin class, hitting the gym a few times a week, walking to and from work), eat healthy and generally keep busy (my dog certainly helps with that). I spend a fair amount of time with friends and family, exploring new places in the city and listening to (and shopping for) vinyl. I try not to watch a lot of television, especially when the weather is nice outside and I could be out enjoying it.

Spending money I don't have on vinyl, being sarcastic, small talk, making toast (honestly, I really don’t cook, and I’m ok with that), finding good deals on antiques.

What my dog does all day when I’m at work. I’m guessing sleep or throw elaborate murder mystery luncheons with the cat, which would explain why my apartment is always a bit untidy when I get home.

Hanging with my dog and friends, listening to records, going out for dinner or to a movie, relaxing, hopefully getting off the couch and exploring the city either via bicycle or my own two feet.

I adore cupcakes and have one tattooed on my body, but I don’t often eat them. Also, my dog might be the coolest man I've ever known, which is a bit depressing.

You have a good sense of humour, can take a joke and don't mind a girl who will probably call you on your crap.
