My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a laid-back guy in general, though I can be excitable on occasion. Depending on the situation, I can be deadly serious, listening and carefully choosing my words, or silly to the point of ridiculousness, passionately blurting about a topic to the point of potential self-embarrassment.

I'm not picky at all when it comes to activities - I care more about who I'm with than what I'm doing, and I'll try anything once. Really, I want to try a lot of things once, or more, depending on how I like them.

My life isn't as exciting as I'd like it to be (working a ton does that to a person), but I love new experiences. I want to go on adventures, meet awesome new people, and generally be inspired.

I believe that little interactions can have a huge impact on one's life, and that, however fleeting, any relationship that makes you feels something can help you grow. Romantic or not, I want to experience relationships from every angle.

I'm not a fan of apathy - I want the people in my life to have passion about something. What one is passionate about isn't as important to me as the ability to really care deeply about something.

I believe that open communication is essential to a healthy relationship, and I'm looking for someone who thinks the same. I wont hide who I am, and I expect the same out of anyone I'd be in a relationship with.

I tend to be an open book once I get to know someone, and I like to talk and meet new people. So if there's anything you want to know, just ask!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an RIT graduate with a BS in Biomedical Sciences. At the moment, I'm working at Rochester General Hospital as a scribe - basically, I follow doctors around and write their charts for them. The job is a great learning experience, and I get to see a lot of cool stuff. I've been there a while, so I also get the opportunity to teach new people the basic medical knowledge and skills required for the job, which I love.

Unfortunately, the hospital job comes with a hospital schedule, so when I'm working can vary pretty drastically from week to week, or even day to day. The upside of that is that my schedule is flexible, so I can always make time for things when I want to.

My ultimate hope is to become a doctor. To that end, I'm looking into applying to med school, or possibly grad school as a stepping stone to med school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Making people laugh
- Listening
- Giving advice
- Random shenanigans.
- Telling stories
- Remembering the most random things.
- Bad singing and silly dances.
- Writing - or so I think.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physically, my eyes? Isn't that what everyone says?
Personality-wise, my friendly demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Animal Farm, American Psycho, Harry Potter, Half the Sky, the Dexter series, anything by Stephen King, among others.

Movies: Memento, American Beauty, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Love Actually, High Fidelity, Star Wars and many, many more. I'll watch just about anything, from the critically acclaimed to the comically bad.

Music: Pretty much any classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, etc), and a few newer artists (Jack Johnson, The White Stripes, Coldplay, Linkin Park, and a few others), but I'll listen to pretty much anything - feel free to tell me my taste is awful and suggest new things for me to listen to.

Shows: Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, House, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and many more.

Food: As a proper Rochesterian, I love garbage plates more than just about anything, especially if I've been drinking. I love a large variety of food from pretty much any nationality or style. I've been trying to become a better cook recently, and I think I'm doing an alright job of it. I love the satisfaction of preparing a home-cooked meal, even if it's just for myself.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- People (Friends/Family)
- Music
- Movies
- The Internet
- A notebook
- My phone, which often acts as a portal to the previous 5 things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, all of the endless possibilities it holds, and how to proceed with mine.

Relationships, both my own and others, trying to figure out what makes good ones tick, and how I can apply that to my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm often working. If not, I could be out with friends at a bar or movie, at someone's house just hanging out, etc - nothing too atypical most of the time.

I also may just be relaxing at home - I work a lot, so I've come to really enjoy the time I get alone, rare as it can be.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If the pictures didn't give it away (everyone looks at those first, don't they?), I'm overweight. I'm working on it, but I won't deny that I have a long way to go.

In terms of other things, I'm an open book - I can't think of anything particularly juicy to put here right now, so I guess you'll have to ask me to find out!
