My Self-Summary
I am 43 years old, divorced for 6 years and the mother of three
great kids ages 6, 11 and 13. God is first in my life followed by
my family and friends. I am a devoted Baptist and my faith is very
important in our family. My children are my life and I do almost
everything for them or with them. Now that the two older kids are
wanting to do more with their friends, I am starting to think more
about myself and dating again. I am not into causual dating, I
would like to find someone that I could see as a long term
relationship and shares the same faith and moral standards I live
up to. Although, my older two children's father is very involved in
their lives, I am looking for someone who loves children and would
not only want to get involved with me but also my children. I love
animals, we have many pets. We like outdoor activities, camping,
hiking, boating, swimming and taking walks.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I am a stay at home mom and very involved in my childrens
lives. When my kids are older I plan to return to my career. I am a
Nurse. I am very involved with ministeries at my church.

I am very good with children, especially with children that have
special needs. For most of my career as a nurse, I have worked with
special needs children in different settings. I love working with
them and bond very easily with them.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I read christian fiction and non-fiction books, the bible and I
also like medical thrillers. Movies, I like dramas and comedy and
some science fiction. Actually, I enjoy most movies as long as they
are not too horror volient or too sexually provocative. Music, I
listen to christian music and soft rock. Food, I like most
anything, not a picky eater.
The six things I could never do without
God, prayer time, the bible, my family and friends, laughter and
reading a good book.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my God given purpose is in life. I am always trying to think
of better ways of raising my children. Lately, I have been thinking
about wanting a relationship again with the right person. I believe
God has a soul mate for everyone, I have not found mine yet, but am
ready to start looking.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I have my children on Friday night we will rent a movie, go to a
friends house or this summer we have been going to Worlds of
Fun/Oceans of Fun quite a bit since we bought season passes this
year. My kids love going to Worlds of Fun on Friday night when it
is dark and all the rides light up. When I do not have my kids, I
may go out with a friend or stay home and caught up on things I
need to get done that I do not have time to do when the kids are
around.
