My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I should probably fill this out now?

I'm going to Europe for the first time in a couple of months (!!) so if you have any suggestions for London or Paris, feel free to share your wisdom!

East coast transplant and former army brat. I moved out to California after graduation and after a rather large culture shock, am settling in quite nicely. I'm a Boston girl at heart, though, and still miss thunderstorms, snow, and Fenway Park.

I'm really laid back and have a warm, sarcastic sense of humor. I like to laugh. I also skip from topic to topic so it's important that people can keep up, or at least smile and nod while I wave my hands about and spout facts and debate politics or who the best X-Man is. A lot of people usually get very angry when I tell them it isn't Wolverine.

I love classic Saturday morning cartoons, Marvel superheros and Disney. I sketch a lot--I taught myself how to draw anime when I was going through a really big phase in high school and I've been doing it ever since. I also sing a lot when I'm bored or stressed. These traits and my sophisticated comic book knowledge means that kids think I'm one of them and treat me with respect and awe.

I'm spontaneous and am still exploring LA but I do love to walk, hike and roller blade. I adore amusement parks and have a huge soft spot for Disney. Have I said that enough?

I'm just really passionate about a lot of things: music, history, fracking, politics (!!), off shore drilling, human rights, Batman vs. Superman. I try not to be boring. I like learning new things as well, like new languages and hula dancing.

I still believe in fairy tales and happy endings, though I've never been too big of a damsel in distress.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for an entertainment company doing corporate responsibility now and I'm liking it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening? I have a lot of random people tell me their life stories upon first meeting. I must have a certain kind of face.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My laugh, perhaps.

Oh, the list.

Books: Love a mystery. Right now, though, I'm on a bit of a non-fiction bender. People are always giving me weird looks while I'm browsing the military history section.
Movies: Black and White films. Animated films. To Kill A Mockingbird. Marvel movies. Amazingly bad action movies from the 80s.
Shows: I'm an unabashed Doctor Who geek. I have a very British sense of humor, so basically anything on the BBC. Procedural dramas, which is a bit funny since I can't stand horror films but can apparently enjoy watching an hour of murder whodunit. I'm weird like that. Psych, Burn Notice, The IT Crowd.
Music: I'm a Broadway junkie, so show tunes. Other than that, I listen to everything. The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Adele, Lana Del Ray, Marina and the Diamonds, Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Motown, etc. I play N Sync and BSB when I'm stressed out, classical and jazz when I'm relaxing or studying, Disney when I'm cleaning, rock when I'm tired and Hip Hop/R&B when I'm ready to go out dancing.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

Music
Family
Books
A Pencil
Netflix
a Christmas Tree for the holidays
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to stop yelling at the television during sports games. I also day dream a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depending on my mood, I can be out for dinner, out dancing, or at home in my pj's watching television. I'm spontaneous. Or lazy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried at the first pokemon movie
