My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Former army brat. Boston girl at heart and still miss thunderstorms, snow, and Fenway Park.

I have a warm, sarcastic sense of humor. I like to laugh. I also skip from topic to topic so it's important that people can keep up, or at least smile and nod while I wave my hands about and spout facts and debate politics or who the best X-Man is.

I love classic Saturday morning cartoons, superheros and Disney. I sketch a lot. I sing a lot when I'm bored or stressed. These traits and my sophisticated comic book knowledge means that kids think I'm one of them and treat me with respect and awe.

I'm just really passionate about a lot of things: music, history, fracking, politics (!!), human rights, Batman vs. Superman. I try not to be boring.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for an entertainment company doing corporate responsibility now and I'm liking it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening? I have a lot of random people tell me their life stories upon first meeting. I must have a certain kind of face.
The first things people usually notice about me

Oh, the list.

Books: Love a mystery. Right now, though, I'm on a bit of a non-fiction bender. People are always giving me weird looks while I'm browsing the military history section.
Movies: Black and White films. Animated films. To Kill A Mockingbird. Marvel movies. Bad action movies from the 80s.
Shows: I'm an unabashed Doctor Who geek. I have a very British sense of humor, so basically anything on the BBC. Procedural dramas. Psych, Orphan Black, The IT Crowd, Parks and Rec.
Music: I'm a Broadway junkie, so show tunes. Other than that, I listen to everything. I play boybands when I'm stressed out, jazz when I'm relaxing or studying, Disney when I'm cleaning and Hip Hop/R&B when I'm ready to go out dancing.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

Music
Family
Books
A Pencil
Netflix
a Christmas Tree for the holidays
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to stop yelling at the television
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depending on my mood, I can be out for dinner, out dancing, or at home in my pj's watching television. I'm spontaneous. Or lazy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried at the first pokemon movie

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have something interesting to say.
Also, confession time: I am horrible at messaging on this app. I will most likely suggest that we meet up in a lit, well populated area for a cup of tea.
