Having a cup of coffee, eggs and ham at a local diner, anything to do with medieval times, drinking a beer, eating chicken wings and watching the game on the big screen, out climbing mountains, watching the waves of the ocean, driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon in a convertible, CRUISES!!!
Traveling anywhere and everywhere I can, looking for and enjoying new experiences.

There is no one person who has been the most influential in my life. All I have come into contact with have influenced my life in one way or another. Growing up as an Air Force dependent I moved frequently,constantly exposed to new places and new people,and that has helped to shape who I am today- an open-minded, flexible and caring individual. The person I respect most is my maternal grandmother. She is the best woman I know, has never said an ill word about anyone, she is giving, caring and selfless, firm in her faith and content with her life, she is simple and yet she is the essence of eveything a person would strive to become.

I am real, a risk-taker, and resilient

I have a BS from The University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!!!) and a MSW from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro/A & T...I am a clinical services supervisor and also do part time work in emergency services as a triage therapist and i also do contract work in supervison, training and consultation (yes, i guess i am a workaholic....)

BUT I still make time for fun and people and things that are important to me.........

Am hoping to find that guy who is loving , caring, honest, funny, intelligent, passionate, open-minded, eager and willing to try new things, not afraid to show and share his thoughts and feelings, willing to think out of the box...I could go on and on...but the main thing is that there is an unexplainable connection heart to heart , soul to soul, then everything else becomes irrelevant.

Favorite Books:The BIBLE -The book that comes to mind...Tuesdays with Morrie-yeah I know it's old but although I have and buy many books I just don't read as much as I used to-the book is certainly not a pulitzer prize winner, nor does it come up with any startling revelations about life, it is a simple yet touching story about an older man reflecting on his life and sharing all of his observations, joys, sorrows, and wisdom with a younger man. I think the main message in the book is "accept who you are and revel in that."

BUT I also love biographies, psychological thrillers, Jonathon Kellerman, Iris Johansen.......

I haven't always made the right decisions but somehow things have always turned out alright anyway. I did a lot of things the hard way, but I have worked hard and never given up. I am proud of the strong, confident, independent woman I have become; I am proud of my beautiful children and grandchildren, and I thank God for every blessing he has given and continues to give me.
