My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find myself on and off here every now and then. I'm not really sure of what I'm looking for, but I'll know it when I find it.

I love to travel, as my screen name would suggest. I value the perspective only seeing the world can provide.

I'm pretty crafty and have a love of photography, which occupies the majority of my free time. I'm a big fan of documentaries and the only place to find me during Hot Docs, is in a theatre. I like learning new and old things, so time spent at the ROM, AGO, Science Centre or something of the like is not out of my ordinary.

I have a terrible habit of editing other people's writing (in my head...as I'm reading it). It serves as more of a distraction than anything else. Having said that, I'm a double spacer after a period. I've had a few conversations surrounding this but I stand by it!
I take serious issue with personal space, particularly with strangers on public transportation.

Manners are important to me. I say please and thank you, I chew with my mouth closed and hold the elevator door open for people (most of the time). I also think old people are the cutest and you can learn a lot, if you take the time to listen to them.

I'm not a pastry lover - the way to my heart is through sour candy ;)
I love to cook just as much as I love to eat, especially foods I've never tried before. I prefer red to green grapes, green to black olives, I love pickles (but not mini gherkins), and I'm a big advocate of breakfast for dinner. I love to cook with that someone - drinking some wine, laughing and likely burning things.

I really enjoy walking around the city and finding special places no one knows about, while taking photos that tell the stories I see. I've gotten back on my bike this summer, after a 6 year hiatus and have completely forgotten the freedom and joy it brings. I like to be challenged, not tested. I'm not the best with remembering song lyrics, but the first to point out when someone has them wrong. No one holds a candle to my useless knowledge - I rock a trivia night like it's going out of style :D
I like to go out and have a good time, but I just as equally love to cuddle with my partner, sharing stories, laughing and enjoying one another.

My most proud accomplishment? Not a single cavity - Ever. In. Life. Impressed yet?

I'm also a big sucker for facial hair - I fold like a sheet for some scruff :P
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as an account manager for an entertainment travel management company
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Falling asleep on my couch instead of my bed, photography and making mushroom risotto. I also excel at listening, advice giving (not taking), people watching, and talking with my hands.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My baby blues, little herbivore teeth (and smile), and somewhat dry sense of humour. Not necessarily in that order.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: I like a bit of everything, although I am not a fan of country, house/trans type music. I typically like more low tempo like Jeff Buckley and Elliot Smith. Lately, some David Byrne, Warren Zevon, some Radiohead and Beirut.

Movies: Too many documentaries to name, too many movies but to name a few: The Usual Suspects, In Bruges, Billy Madison, The Princess Bride, So I Married an Axe Murderer, High Fidelity, Amelie, The Ice Storm, Zoolander, Pan's Labyrinth, Rushmore, Beautiful Girls. I have also been known to dig a chick flick :)
I'm a fan of both interesting and silly things on YouTube.

TV: Louie, Community, Arrested Development, Portlandia, Girls, 30 Rock, Downton Abby, Big Brother, and a few others I've promised a half dozen people I will watch...eventually. The Kids in the Hall - some good home grown humour! Oh...Shark Week!

Books: I've recently picked up 'Let's Pretend This Never Happened' by Jenny Lawson - I have to say, it's some of the funniest stuff I've read.

Food: I can be a pretty adventurous eater, albeit a little picky regarding texture. I am open and willing to try new things, ie: I had some fermented snake wine while in Vietnam and it did not amp up my sex drive as suggested (anymore anyway...).
Sushi is my favourite, so if you know a great place with great sushi please share. Secrets don't make friends ;)
Lately, I've developed a kale and roasted seaweed (not together) addiction.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My sister
Friends
Camera
Passport
Computer
Coffee

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My job, photography, family and where my next adventure will take me.
Also, why I never go to bed when I should (like right now, for instance)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually hanging out with friends for drinks, or staying in with a movie.
I work hard, so I generally prefer to relax on Friday nights...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have never seen a single Rocky movie. Yes, it's true - I like Stallone about as much as a wet sock. I also have a mad crush on Jeff Goldblum. True story.
