I am brutally honest, expressive eyebrows, and a dumb bunny.
My Self-Summary
Okay, here's a list of a few things that I enjoy doing: playing my
ukulele (also
writing songs and recording them);
video games (I love my
wii! BTW my Wii friend code is
7978 6170 1213 7727 and I have Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Tiger Woods
Golf and The Conduit... just message me your Wii code if you add
me); watching
soccer games (
Sounders FC!
Arsenal!) ;
walking (it clears my head); I love my
job (yeah weird I know); browsing the web; going out with
friends;
shopping (even if it's just window
shopping); not big on watching TV or movies, but I enjoy them on
occasion.
I recently had someone in the forums mention that I'm "making
faces" in all my pictures. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
btw: you can find me on Facebook too, but it's best to exchange
messages with me here first.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working in a supplement store which seems to fit as I like to
talk to people and I enjoy helping people with their troubles.
Eventually I would like to do something with my ukulele playing (I
plan on attending a school in
Hawai'i at some point to learn how to
build them) and have been writing/recording songs which I post on
Ezfolk.com .
Whenever I get spare moments I play some video games or whatever,
but mostly I end up talking to friends and family about work.
I became an ordained minister online so that I can perform duties
of a life counselor and give people health advice without getting
sued! Also I can perform weddings so if anyone needs a minister...
I’m really good at
...my work. I'm mildly good at just about everything else I do.
Many things I'm not sure how good I am cause I have very little to
refer to. Help me build some experiences and maybe I can answer
this one a bit better :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I would hope that they notice my eyes, my sincerity, or my butt? :)
I once had someone ask me out because I am so "real" whatever that
means. I've also had a blind date go badly because I wasn't "GQ
enough" which I think I understand.
But I think that if someone's first interactions with me are while
I'm at work, then they must notice that I treat everyone with
respect and a level of humanity unseen in most retail
workers.
If you meet me on the street or at "teh cluub" or something I'm
usually doing my own thing and keeping mostly to myself until
someone shakes me from my daydreaming with a simple word or
gesture. I tend to treasure those moments.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books, I'm afraid, I'm not very into but I did like the
Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy series and anything I've read by
Terry
Pratchett.
I'm not really into movies either, but some of my favorites are the
Monty Python
movies,
Kevin
Smith's view askewniverse series, Hackers (cheesy but fun), and
Just about every Hong Kong flick I've ever seen. I'll watch movies,
but I can't say I have many favorites.
Ahh,
music. That's a
subject I can get into. I have way too many favorites, I'll listen
to just about anything but modern country music as most of it comes
off really grating to my ears. Right now I think my favorites are
Abba,
Mc Frontalot,
Harvey
Danger,
Kraftwerk the
High Fidelity soundtrack,
Izrael
Kamakaiva'ole's Facing Future,
The Gossip's That's not what I heard,
Barenaked
Ladies' Gordon,
Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor,
Anything from
Jurassic 5, The Starlight Mints, Dead
Kennedys, Optimus Rhyme, Sam and Dave (and most old soul music for
that matter), and the list goes on.
I love lots of food, so it's probably easier to mention what I
don't like: tomatoes... GROSS! Unless tomatoes are made into a
sauce or ketchup or something I can't stand to eat them. I also
rarely eat fish or seafood of all kinds. I do in fact like to eat
some kinds of white fish fried, but it's rare. I'm getting better
about it though, I do eat fish more often but I still won't eat
crab, shrimp or lobster. If it's fishy, I don't want it. :)
I'm also really into spicy stuff but not in the kind that dulls
your taste buds. I like the taste of peppers and a fair bit of
spice, but too much just kills the senses.
By the way, I can easily be bribed with kalua pork or pancakes from
Kauai Family Restaurant, won ton soup from Ballard Mandarin, or
barley green pot stickers from Shanghai Garden.
The six things I could never do without
I gotta have my ukulele
video games - a given when you're a gamer from the old school
umm... my cheap wooden bead bracelet that I got at Zenith in the U
district.
teh internets are very important to my budgeting skills so I guess
that has to be on here somewhere...
actually, I could have filled this with the supplements I take most
often but I guess I could just say my favorite herbal supplements
take the fifth spot, and NO I'm not talking about "herb"
supplements for all you stoners (some of my favorites are
ashwagandha, rhodiola, and andrographis). I'm mildly allergic to
hemp in pretty much all it's forms folks, so if you smoke it... I'm
not judging but please keep that stuff away from me.
Friends. How sappy is that? I mean really, I love hanging out with
the people from work and whomever I deem my current girl/boy friend
or whatever but aren't they all just friends with different degrees
of access to my pants?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Philosophy. Aren't most things centered around some form of
philosophy? I mean think about it really, can't any fundamental
belief system be considered a philosophy?
Okay maybe not. Nonetheless I still think about how the world works
quite a bit, not to mention what drives people to act the way they
do. Most of the remaining time I'm either thinking about sex,
music, or video games.
Since I work at a nutritional supplement/health food store, I think
about natural medicine and nutrition a lot too.
I guess I think about work most often as I'm there most often. But
I've been attempting to get out more and enjoy not thinking about
work so much. Oh jeez, now I sound like a nerd...
On a typical Friday night I am
At home playing video games or watching TV and fooling around
online. If not that then I'm at my friend's house watching her TV
cause she has cable :)
It's not that I never go out and do anything, it's just that I
don't get weekends off 'cause I'm in retail. I get two days off
during the week though, just in case you ever wondered what all
those people are doing going clubbing on a Tuesday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I think I've proven in this little space that I'll tell people
nearly anything since I've changed this part of my profile most
frequently.
You should message me if
You think I'm interesting enough to hang out with at least, if you
want to date, if you think I could help you in some way, or even if
you just want to play some video game against someone other than
the computer (I know I would). Just send me a message to say hi! If
Nothing else I'm willing to chat with people of all kinds, not just
those I find attractive ;)
