My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, been on here for a while now. Been in a couple of relationships over about 20 years, been single for the last 4 years. Not looking to dive into another serious relationship at the moment, not afraid to be on my own (fairly self-sufficient for a bloke, friendly, house-trained, does not raid dustbins etc.). Happy to just meet someone and see where it goes, no rush. Not a 'player', don't do casual sex (so don't ask 8-) ). Would like to meet someone who is curious about and interested in anything. Someone who says to themselves things like 'I wonder how that works?' or 'I wonder what that means?' several times a day. If you have a healthy streak of masochism and enjoy camping that would be cool. If you're into motorbikes, rider or pillion, I've died and gone to heaven. If not, no worries (they're not everyone's cup of tea so I'm told 8-) ). Got a lot of other interests (please enquire if you've a mind to) and there'll be things I don't know I'm interested in yet (surprise me, I dare you). I also read too much, listen to too much music and watch too many movies (as if that was ever possible 8-) ). I am much encouraged by the 18 likes that I have accumulated, but not being a paid up member I have no idea who you are.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to be a good human being.
Spending it in the company of friends or just having a go at something that seems interesting or fun, or both.
Tolerating an annoying interlude to the above activities known as 'working for a living'. 8-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Helping, hugs (apparently) and don't know about really good, but listening (waterproof shoulders optional), making my friends laugh, fixing things (P.C.'s a speciality... not police constables, wouldn't know what to do with one of those.), balancing the contents of a camping shop on my bike for a weekend away, drawing, solving puzzle rings, mirror-writing, sneaking up on people, spelling that long place name on Anglesey and answering questions without recalling how I know the answer (have been useful at the odd pub quiz).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm quiet (at first). Other than that, not a clue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Ask me. I don't bite (unless startled 8-) ). Lazy I know, but if I wrote them all down they would be very long lists and you would lose the will to live while reading them. And it gives us something to talk about.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Air, water, food, friends, bike, music, internet, books, conversation, silence, films, lists and numeracy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Stopped thinking about anything too much due to nosebleeds, headache, teeth-grinding etc. Just enjoying now, what else is there?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Knackered. Go out Saturday instead (not all the time 8-( ), loading the bike for the occasional biker rally / the odd weekend down at a mate's or cabbaged with a beer, book or film.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't like beetroot.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
A. You want to take a chance. New conversation, new friend or new relationship. Let's see where it goes.

B. You like talking to strange men. Not really strange, but will admit to being a bit odd.

C. You accept my guarantee that you will never see a photograph of any part of me naked that isn't my head, and that I have never been sectioned (been tested though) or served with a restraining order.
