A dear friend once told me, "Kimmy, you're a funny-shaped puzzle piece, and it's going to take another funny-shaped puzzle piece to fit with you." And he was right. To me, normal is boring; I think it's people's quirks and even their flaws that make them special. (But don't be too weird, k?)

What are some of my quirks? Glad you asked:
• I always set two alarm clocks; the numbers can't be all odds or all evens and the time can't end in a 0 or a 5.
• I bring up unicorns and/or glitter in casual conversation daily.
• I listen to 80s/90s music at my desk every day and at times sing along loudly and add seated dance moves.
• I've been to 12 countries so far, and would love a travel partner to see the rest of the world with.
• Sometimes I'll intentionally end a sentence with a preposition, even though I know it's wrong, just because I don't want to sound pretentious.
• I'm pretty much the worst speller in the history of forever. Did I mention I have a masters in writing? And that I'm now a graphic designer? Oops.
• I hate roller-coasters and other fast things. But I love scary movies.
• Sometimes my hair is so crazy and curly that it makes me look like a lion. Also, I should probably say, it's currently blondish. But if you're a brunette guy, stick around, it changes all the time.
• I say whatever I'm thinking.

I'm a graphic designer in the marketing department of an international travel company. I get to be around my two loves all day, every day. Art and travel.

Making things pretty. Beating people at scrabble. Rocking an afro. Canadian tuxedos. Photoshopping my coworkers into ridiculous images. Cornhole. Wit-battling. Communicating my feelings through my facial expressions (often without knowing it).

the volume of my hair or my big brown eyes. or my swagger.

i just got a kindle fire and am shame spiraling about abandoning the print book world so i haven't read anything on it yet. i tend towards realistic fiction and memoirs.

i think good music should make you twinkle inside. and understand that varies from person to person. i don't like judgey music people. if i want to have a spontaneous dance party to whitney huston or sing a color me bad song at karaoke you should at least be able to laugh at me if you won't dance/sing along.

i watch tv. i don't like judgey non-tv-watcher people either.

i like pretty much all food in the world; especially thai, indian, anything with a chocolate/peanut butter combo...and bacon.
