My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm quiet until I get to know you - and then I hum a lot, which is potentially annoying. Just because I'm quiet doesn't mean I don't like you. It may, however, mean my thoughts are entirely elsewhere and I haven't heard anything you've said for the last 10 minutes.

I'm from Georgia but I've been westernized and I'm happy in San Francisco. I've lived in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and (briefly) NYC, and SF is the first place I've been that has felt like home since I left college in idyllic Athens, GA.

I don't make out with girls and I don't make out very often with boys. Even though I don't hook up that much, I do find guys fun to watch. Flirting is still a bit beyond me; cruising is not.

I buy way too many CDs. They're currently strewn across my bedroom floor and I've stepped on more than a few of them. It's not that I'm opposed to downloading music. I guess I'm just too accustomed to the non-virtual music store.

I like reading the books I was supposed to read in college and seeing movies. I volunteer every other weekend at a collectively owned movie theater in San Francisco.

Enough? Yes, enough.

I am abstracted, dissolute, and amused

Boggle, Trivial Pursuit, crosswords, spelling, editing. Catching on to what you're trying to tell me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
1. "He doesn't have too much to say, does he?" 2. "And when he does talk he says 'ummm' a lot." 3. "Your desk is a phenomenal mess!"

what to do next... I would like to be working in Africa before I turn 40. I'd also like to go to grad school. I'd also like to make more money and actually afford to live in this ridiculously expensive city - which would probably mean sacrificing those first two ideas and going to work for a biotech company instead.
