I LOVE MUSIC.

My catchphrase is "Music is my first love, everything else is secondary". Mainly because I haven't found something I love more than music, but I'm here just to do that.

Although I don't have an overall problem with music released these days, I do prefer to listen to music from the 60's through to the 80's. Post-Punk being my favourite genre to listen to.

Besides listening to music, in my free time I like to read, indulge in amateur photography (mainly landscapes), bushwalk, watch a movie now and then and hone my cooking skills.

If I had to describe myself in a sentence it would be Eccentric Music-Obsessed Geek.

I can be a little strange, but as friends always say, "In a good way". :)

I can also make ice. It's quite easy. You just put some water in the freezer for a couple of hours and ABRACADABRA! it's ICE! I run a course if you are interested. :)

Contemplating my next gambit. Though as I'm a lousy chess player, I'd be better playing Mahjong. :)

Remembering odd trivia. Which makes me very good at trivia nights. Things that most people find uninteresting, interest me enough to remember.

Don't worry, I won't bore you about it unless asked. :)

Is that I have a habit of taking conversations onto tangents. They don't get bored but the connections I make, even I don't understand at times.

Also that I wear glasses, have a beard and that I'm not Rolf Harris.

Any of the Matthew Shardlake series of novels by C.J. Sansom.
I've recently discovered the Japanese Mystery writer Miyuki Miyabe and I quite like her work as well.

Movies: A song for the Sun, The Princess Bride, Lost in Translation, Dogma, Battle Royale, Swing Girls, October Sky, Big Fish.

TV: I don't watch a lot of what currently is on, but I do like: Supernatural, Fringe, Stargate Universe, Leverage, Dr Who, Torchwood.

Music: My music taste is quite varied, but I do enjoy Post-Punk, New Wave, J-Pop, Alternative, Classical & Progressive Rock (amongst others).

Food: I love Asian food. Especially Japanese and Korean. I also love Cajun food. But I have not yet found a place that does good Cajun food in Sydney.

Watching TV or talking to someone online or on the phone. My big social night is usually a Saturday evening. :)

I can use the force.

I often use it to open sliding doors. They aren't automatic, that's my force powers at work.

My favorite movie is a little known Japanese movie called "A Song For The Sun". (Well little known outside Japan).

The movie is nothing spectacular. It doesn't contain a lot of action, it moves at a slow pace and the soundtrack is not very complicated. But there is a warmth to the movie which cannot be explained. Whenever I hear the soundtrack from the film, it can trigger emotions corresponding to the scene in which the music relates to.

I want to meet someone with whom I can feel and share that warmth, whose voice can trigger emotions relating to the words she speaks. Most of this profile is silly, but this, this is serious because humor aside, it is why I am on here.
