My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just packed my bags and moved from Minnesota to Orlando to chase down a dream. I'm a grad student now. So that's fun.

I'm the kind of guy that loves to get into deeply nerdy and silly conversations. I like sharing the things I love and learning about things I haven't heard of before.

Sometimes I ramble and sometimes I'm very concise. This feels like a concise time to me.

Oooooo. I'm so mysterious.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a grad student at UCF and am also a freelance copywriter. Good times.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I read aloud very well. My niece and nephews all agree on that point. There's other stuff that I'm good at, but that's the main thing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my eyebrows... AND MY PERSONALITY!!!!!!!

just kidding. it's only my eyebrows.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My all-time favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut. I remember reading "Breakfast of Champions" when I was in junior high and being blown away that someone could tell a story that way. I'm a guy that loves comic books. I'm especially fond of Brian Michael Bendis, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Matt Fraction, and Neil Gaiman. Looking at my bookshelves, you'll notice a lot of sci-fi and fantasy. That's not the only stuff I read, but I like it a lot.

I think "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest" is awesome. I also like "American Beauty," "Crank 2," "Joe vs the Volcano," "Blade Runner," "State and Main," and lots of other movies. Lots and lots of other movies.

There are so many shows both wonderful and terrible that I adore that it would be exhausting and contradictory to list them all here.

My favorite bands are They Might Be Giants and Ween (though of late I've been listening to a lot of Har Mar Superstar, Lizzo, Janelle Monae, Rancid, Doomtree, Wye Oak, St Vincent, Nine Inch Nails, and Mandy Patinkin).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Bookshelves, books to go on those shelves, irony, acting, laughing, a place to sit comfortably every now and then
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
reasons why I do or do not like the things that I do or do not like. Is that weird? That might be weird.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I'm not performing or rehearsing, I like to use that time to catch up with friends or family. Maybe watch a movie or a play. Or just stay in and relax so that I have extra strength and energy for the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I watched Power Rangers regularly until I was a junior in high school.
