My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey there! My name is Ricky, and its a pleasure to meet you. I am 26 years old, single, I have no kids, and I am a U.S. Air Force Veteran using my GI Bill benefits to go back to school and continue my education. I just finished up my Associate's in Arts (General Education) degree in May, and I am now currently a full time student at UT Arlington Majoring in Psychology with a minor in Political science, two of the biggest loves of my life :-) . After this I would like to either transfer down to Baylor in order to get my PsyD, or go into teaching high school psychology, law studies, or American Government. I also wouldnt be opposed to going back into the military and doing a little time as an officer.

Anyhow, now that the boring stuff is out of the way, let's talk a little bit more about the real me, shall we? I am a very silly/goofy person. I am always laughing because I believe that there is humor to be found in all things. I also dont believe in taking life too seriously, although I do know when to be serious. I am a nerd at heart, I enjoy video games, reading, comic books, Game of Thrones, Warhammer 40,000, you name it! I love good food (SUSHI!), and I have a MAJOR sweet tooth! I am a pretty active person and I try my best to stay in shape. I generally workout three to five times a week depending on my schedule. My other hobbies include going shooting (Yes, I am a gun owner.), martial arts, watching basketball (GO SPURS GO!!!) and movies.

I am a very honest person, in fact most people would probably say that I am honest to a fault. I believe that life is too short, and that lying is a waste of time. I am passionate, spontaneous, and dependable. I am not looking to rush into anything, rather I am looking for someone who is worth the time, effort, and energy that it takes from both sides to build something solid. I want to take my time and really get to know somone first, I am all about trust and respect and taking the time to earn both. I made my fair share of mistakes in the dating world when I was younger, but each one of those mistakes taught me valuable lessons and gave me experience I wouldnt trade for the world. I am looking to take the lessons that I learned from those relationships and apply them to any new relationships I happen to get into.

I am not unrealistic. I am not looking for someone who is exactly like me, with all the same interests, and who feels the same way about things that I do. I know that this is something that is nearly impossible to find and I am ok with that. Besides, I think that finding someone exactly like me would be boring. I dont just want to sit around with someone who is going to agree with me all day. I need someone who can challenge me, who can think for themself and assert their own opinion. I want someone who takes the time to form intelligent, well informed opinions, and who can express themself confidently.

Anyhow, I will cut this off before I begin to ramble. Please dont be shy about contacting me, I would love to hear from you!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have successfully completed my Associate's degree program and now I am focusing on working on my BA in Psychology with a minor in Political Science at UT Arlington. Still working on what I want to be when I grow up.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I dont know if I would say at, but I am good WITH Psychology, being creative, thinking outside the box. Keeping people on their toes. Putting a smile on my friends faces. Doing karaoke to Dr. Dre songs. Being a personal trainer. Writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My ridiculous nose, my broad shoulders, or my goofy smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: The books I read are primarily nerdy. Nothing too deep. It's not Noam Chomsky, but if you like nerdy things they're pretty fun! I love just about anything written by Dan Abnett or Yahtzee Croshaw. Generally books involving the Warhammer 40K universe (Imperial Guard, to be more precise :-p), or just about anything to do with zombies. Lately, with my hectic school schedule, I have had to switch over to listening to audiobooks since I dont have the time to sit down and read. Currently in the middle of listening to Angels & Demons.

Movies: Suicide Kings, Ted, The Dark Knight, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Desperado, The Cabin in the Woods, The Avengers, Brooklyn's Finest, any of the Lethal Weapon movies, Silver Linings Playbook, Iron Man, etc.

Shows: Family Guy, American Dad, Archer, Futurama, Top Shot, Top Gear (U.K.), The Walking Dead (Though lately Ive sort of fallen OUT of love with this show...), Red vs Blue, Weeds (The seasons BEFORE they left Agrestic.), Invader Zim, The West Wing, etc.

Music: I have eclectic taste. From Frank Sinatra to James Brown, to AC/DC, old Metallica, Beastie Boys, Shinedown, Santana, etc.

Food: Just about anything, though my favorites include sushi, great italian food, good chinese food, northeastern style pizza, BBQ, and I LOVE dessert foods. Cheesecake, ice cream, you name it. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Well, aside from the physiological basics such as food, water, sleep, etc.
-My close friends and family.
-Some sort of physical activity akin to working out.
-Video games
-Good TV/movies
-Good books to read
-Something to satisfy my sweet tooth!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The zombie apocalypse (Hahahaha). My future, what I want out of my life. I also have a very active imagination, so that is always fun to get lost in for a little while.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
That all depends on where I am on a Friday night and just how tough the week before has been. Needless to say, Im flexible in my planning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an almost childlike feeling of joy when it comes to fireworks and teddy bears.
