My self-summary
I've been thinking about this but don't have much to put up yet. This section and most of what follows is a (messy) work in progress.

self proclaimed eccentric

For those wondering or curious, I am bisexual foremost because I do not believe gender should matter if you love someone. But I am also physically attracted to both :]

To get a good idea about my personality, read this profile on INTPs. It describes me incredibly accurately.
What I’m doing with my life
I currently work at Stanford University as a systems engineer. On my own time, I am pursuing my own interests. I've also got a great idea for a web startup that I am making way less progress on than I would like. In the long term, I would like to go to grad school and enter a PhD program in mathematics.
I’m really good at
Introspection, observation, abstraction. Considering different points of views. Convincing myself otherwise in the middle of arguing a point.
The first things people usually notice about me
...is that I am pretty reserved and quiet at first (I am working on this!). Stoic. I have no idea what people first notice about me physically.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
At any given time, I'm usually in the middle of reading math books on a variety of topics. Lately, algebraic topology has captured my attention. Other than that, I'm slowly trying to work my way through the classics. I can also be found reading a motorcycle magazine or riding technique / safety book.

Movies: Far too many to list here.

Shows:
I don't really watch TV because I loath commercials but I do enjoy watching the following (on DVD or whatever): Breaking Bad, The Office, Ghost In The Shell, Futurama, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Parks And Recreation, Adventure Time, South Park, Bill Maher, Time Warp, MythBusters, How It's Made, among many other shows.

Music:
Primarily IDM, breakcore, rhythmic noise, industrial, glitch, dubstep, DnB and ambient. Also, classical music, classic rock, post rock, stoner rock, jazz. I love music! The single most beautiful song I've come across so far is Yagya's "As It Is" from their album, Will I Dream Through The Process?. Check it out on Youtube here or ask me where you can find a high quality version.

You're welcomed to view my Last.FM profile, if you wish.

Food:
I am omnivorous but have been seriously considering going vegetarian. I lose my appetite if I think too much about the animal's experience. Seafood other than fish is a little weird (think aquatic insects) but I still eat small amounts. In terms of types of food middle eastern is my favorite. A pakistani friend taught me how to make excellent chicken karahi. I also enjoy fine chocolate :D
The six things I could never do without
Aside from the obvious (family, friends, sustenance/shelter):

- Macbook Pro (I love this thing to bits!)
- Suzuki SV650S motorcycle
- Archlinux server

I spend a lot of time thinking about
...all sorts of random things about the world around me, constantly. Things I find fascinating. Planning things I want to do, etc.

I also entertain strange inquires. For example, why is some humor considered "dry"? Is there such thing as "wet" humor? And in any case, why the use of wet/dry to describe humor in the first place?
On a typical Friday night I am
...at home, listening to music, reading a book, working or playing on the computer or watching a movie / TV show. Or out at the gym or together with a few close friends at a local bar/pub or watching a movie at the theater.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi guys
  • Ages 22–30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
...you think we could be great friends! I especially enjoy hearing from people who have similar interests, taste in music and/or have a motorcycle too and would like to go riding!

Anyone interested in more than friendship will have better luck possessing some subset of the following: you're bisexual (or bi-friendly), openminded, compassionate, assertive but know when to be patient, a little spiritual, enjoy learning something new every day, have at least some vague idea what you want to do with your life (and are working towards it) and are passionate about something.
