I'm interested in wild-crafting and self-reliance. I prepare my own food, not because I "like" to cook, but because I like to have control over what I eat and what it's cooked in (ie, glass, no teflon). I eat my own dandelions and am making dandelion wine, even though I hardly drink at all.
I'm a very sensitive, intuitive, introverted person (INFP on the Briggs-Meyers test although I don't put much credence in tests). Yet physically I like to be tough. I mow my own lawn, etc, and have a couple of acres that back up to woods. Nature is my Church and my healer. I love to run barefoot in the field down by the creek, hug trees (literally), swim in the creek, camp, travel, lift weights. I value honesty above all things--honesty to others, and to the self. Sensitivity, and its resulting honesty and integrity, are more important than intellect, I think, although I do appreciate intellect as long as it's not being used to manipulate others. I'm adventurous. I love to travel, and I'd love to see the Pacific coast--never been there. I want to try surfing again. I'm a night owl, although I love and worship the sun as well. I love the sound of crickets. I belong to a local ghost-hunting group. I'm intrigued by astral projection.
I enjoy taking care of my own health matters. I try to avoid doctors and am strongly against taking pharmaceuticals, having almost died from them nine years ago. My spice rack is my medicine chest. I consider myself politically liberal but have a bit of a libertarian streak, particularly regarding the issue of health freedom, as a result of my traumatic experiences with the medical establishment and their highly addictive pills. Now I consider myself to be in perfect health.
I've never been married and have no kids yet, but hope these things will change.
My username has nothing to do with my appearance. I just happen to like crows and ravens and the freedom they represent.
