While sitting here getting ready to type about myself I just realized I don't like writing about myself in a one sided conversation to the vast empty space that is the internet. Unless of course I am in a two way conversation with someone.
Okay, my name is Bethany, and I am a student at a community college in Sacramento. And I'm very shy...

Next semester I'm going to get my CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) license. I want to get a part time job working in a nursing home, so I can work my way through college. I already have a part time job working at the college, but thanks to the economy recently they have not had the funding to allow me to work.

Being understanding and getting along with lots of different types of people once I get comfortable with them. Though, getting comfortable with someone takes awhile for me b/c I guess you know by now based on my username.. I'm very shy in person.

IDK.. lol. People I meet in nursing homes tell me I have really great skin... They also notice that I'm very shy, but that I become a little goofy when I open up to someone.

Books:
Twilight, Harry Potter, Dictionary (my lifesaver). Text books are kinda fun sometimes lol.. and about a million other books that I cannot remember the names to right now.

Movies:
Too many to name but I like comedy, drama, some scifi, Romance (of course I'm a girl lol), some fantasy and some action (but I'm rarely in the mood). I mostly chose movies based on genre or actor/ actress.

Music: well just about anything except rap. Mostly, I listen to whatever country or 80's rock happens to be on the radio. If there is a commercial break, I turn to 107.9 the end for a last resort. I do get tired of the same country songs over and over again. And I dislike commercial breaks, and also dislike most of the talk-shows.

Food: I love trying new kinds of food. Some of my favorites are East Indian, Thai, and Italian. I am a Vegetarian, but it does not bother me when those around me eat meat.

How to become a little less shy in order to have more decent REAL friends.

I spend most Friday nights at home chilling out with my uncle.. (yes, I live with my uncle...). Sometimes, I go hang out with a good friend.

I'm not going to pick a secret out of the hat and post it here for the world to see... Not that I really have many secrets.. once someone knows me I'm an open book to them, if they are interested.

I am willing to say that my past has been sad and sometimes happy and very out of the ordinary... BUT, I really try to enjoy life anyways!! :D
