My self-summary
I've just been back in London 18 months after a few years overseas, mostly in Melbourne. Freelancing since I quit my good day job in Australia and decided to move back to the UK in the middle of a recession and change career direction! Trying to get paid to just do what I would be doing anyway.

I always have sunglasses and an umbrella on me - an idealist and a realist...
I love to travel and always have a trip (small or large) somewhere on the horizon.

Always have some kind of project on the go. I'm interested in a lot of different things, am doing a writing course, trying to get the guts to ride a bike in London, trying to get friends to come to a somerset festival, going places I haven't been before, reading about mindfulness and different ways of looking at the world
I’m really good at
Being honest - sometimes tooo good... :/

Making people laugh, more often by accident than on purpose.... think that means they're laughing at me, but hey ho.

Tripping over and spilling glasses of wine while sober. It's a casualty of talking with your hands...
The first things people usually notice about me
The smile, or suspicious look, on my face - depending on how I feel about them. My face is an open book
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of best gigs I have been to over last few years -
Grizzley Bear, Bon Iver, The Hives.
Love a whole mix of music depending on
timing/mood/location!
Rarely know the names of what I like and rely on friends to drip feed me new stuff (though spotify is a revelation)

I love to read, from the classics to the modern.

Never get that into tv. Though Homeland season one, that totally sucked me in. (And dexter, weirdly because I hate scary stuff). And I hate to admit it but although I like good books, I kind of like really bad tv.

Always up for weird and wonderful food, one of the best things about travel. But good old favourites include cheese, all Asian style foods, and salted caramel....mmm
The six things I could never do without
Passport
Gin
Sunshine
Shoulder rubs
Laughing tears
Possibilities
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Though I'm getting better at not thinking about everything at once all the time
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally a cheeky happy hour, Asian BYO dinner and a gig. But that whole combo doesn't happen often enough these days
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I meet you I'll over-share every embarrassing story I've got so may as well save it!
You should message me if
You have a friendly face and love exploring new places
