Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live in Decatur, Georgia I do IT EnterpriseManagement for in the
Atlanta area. I love what I do because every day makes me have to
think so I would imagine since taking this job my critical thinking
level has grown stronger and inquisitive nature has been satisfied
I love talking politics philosophy and religion, so I appreciate
strong personalities. My philosophy on life: whatever turns you
Lately I've been doing a lot of yoga. I mean a lot. I have slimmed
up some and have started to build core muscle and balance. It's
great. Chris is an amazing teacher and I promise you will enjoy it
or I will personally refund your money.
I am inquisitive, offbeat, and spontaneous
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Riding around with the top down and enjoying life, climbing Stone
Mountain, yoga classes three or more times a week, hitting the
local bar or music venue to hang with friends. Sitting in a
bookstore and reading or swimming in the pool with a drink in my
hand. Being lazy on the couch while I watch movies. Learning,
reading books - it is a great way to escape without plunging too
much time into the TV or computer.
I absolutely have to have friends that are doing things and moving
forward or backwards, so long as they are moving. I love to hear
about others passion and seeing someone so intense about a
particular subject is the real joy of life. I'd love to share my
passions and indulge in yours.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting to know others, relating to other people, debating about
things that probably don't really matter in the scheme of things,
surfing wikipedia using my click-throughs as a stream of
consciousness, doing what's right by my friends, spending all my
money, STAYING ACTIVE. I love to travel and get out and accomplish
things even if that thing is filling up my day with a million tiny
things. Probably because I think about things too much. Overactive
imagination and mind.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My completely heinous fashion sense? Sense of humor maybe - the
fact I smile and laugh a whole whole lot? Also, my sweet, sweet
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books are pretty much anything by attorneys turned
authors, historical fiction, some fantasy, a small bit of sci-fi,
books on philosophy and religion.
I love almost all music though if you are a music snob I will think
you are way cooler than I because I don't know a lot of names of
things and probably haven't heard what you are listening to.
I love lots of movies. I mean lots. I am a total sucker for a
cliche romantic movie, but would honestly prefer a thriller of some
sort or a mystery. If I had to say favorite movie of all time, I
can't help putting the Dark Crystal since ever since I saw that in
elementary school that's the default answer. Damn them for making a
Food is anything that isn't really spicy. I will probably eat the
spicy but then sweat a lot and my stomach will explode so best to
keep me on the kiddie table for that kind of meal...but I will try!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Google, companionship, food, the sun, sleep and yoga.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Other people's motivation, my own motivation, how things work, why
we are here, what comes after, Quis Custodiet Custodes Ipsos, what
might have been, where I am heading, where you are heading and why.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends. Trying to chase a good dance floor or if I decide
I can't find that with friends at least a good house party.
Occasionally a cup of tea and an early night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I met my ex-girlfriend online and she hated me. Then we met in a
gay bar and hit it off somehow. At which point I pretended not to
recognize her until we got to know each other better.
I will admit the most embarrassing thing that has happened to me in
a while which is telling Wanda Yom Tempko that NPR should play less
classical music - though I was referring to Classic Cup Concert,
not Afternoon Classics...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to hang out and live in Decatur/Midtown, you already know
me or you have similar interests than I do or you don't and have
interests that are polar opposite of mine and want to tell me why
you think your interests are better and I should start doing some
of those instead. Then we can fight about it. If you want to go to
yoga with me or hit up Eddie's Attic sometime. I love that place,
but I might be biased.
Also it would really help if you were ambitious - doesn't have to
be about work, life itself or a hobby. Just have a lot of passion
