My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Witty, nerdy, idealistic, sarcastic, philosophical, offbeat. Anything can be an adventure, or if not I'm happy sitting around talking over loose leaf tea. If you're awake at 3am and wish you had someone to go to the beach with, I'm your huckleberry.

3/12/14, just moved to Vallejo to be with an amazing girl, we're in an open relationship and always looking for interesting people :)

9/15/14, Living in Twin Peaks, can finally start exploring the city for real, always looking for suggestions!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Holding a door open for someone then getting stuck holding it for the next 15 people.
Cooking; I have a pressure cooker and I'm not afraid to use it!
Surprising people with invented cocktails.
Having weird conversations where you feel like you've learned something but can't quite place what.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Despite having grown goatee people still say I look like Harry Potter, whereas I see myself looking more like John Lennon. When I wake up in the morning my hair looks like Edward Scissorhand's.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Sci-fi that makes you think, and nonfiction on pressing topics are my biggest categories. Green Metropolis, The Omnivore's Dilemma, Asimov, Discworld, H.P. Lovecraft, Let the Right One In, Christopher Moore, Borges, Phantom of the Opera, Pride and Prejudice, Ray Bradbury. Also some things that aren't fiction but read like it; Tokyo Vice and The Devil in the White City. Sometimes books on architecture and design. Of course I love Harry Potter!

Movies: Tongue-in-cheek action movies, Kung-Fu movies, documentaries on world issues. Tarantino, Kubrick, old Disney, Studio Ghibli. The 5th Element, The Big Lebowski, The Red Violin, The Matrix, Memoirs of a Geisha, Godfather, Shawshank, The Sting, Terminator, old stuff by the Marx Brothers, this could go on for a while, I work at a movie theater, for both our sakes I'll cut it short dear reader.

Shows: I tend towards comedy, but I love anything with good writing. Portlandia, Always Sunny, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, Quick Draw, Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story, 30 Rock, Family Guy, American Dad, Boondocks, Adventure Time, South Park, Ugly Americans, AbFab, Mitchell and Webb, Drunk History, Monty Python, occasionally the stuff on Current TV. Love anime that isn't all filler and cutesy.

Music: Classic Rock and 80s. Beatles, Hendrix, Talking Heads, Bowie, Yes, DEVO, Duran-Duran, Daft-Punk, Justice, The Like, !!!(Chk Chk Chk), The Kinks, Animals, Pixies, Pretty Reckless, Amy Winehouse, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Tiger Lilies, Yellow Magic Orchestra, and Lady Gaga but don't ask me what any of them are doing at the moment. I'll give almost anything a chance as long as it isn't too formulaic.

Video Games: On hiatus right now, looking forward to the PS4 once they work the bugs out of it. I love talking about game design, and if I won the lotto I'd start a studio.

Comedians: Eddie Izzard, George Carlin, Mitch Hedberg, Dylan Moran. Sarcastic and offbeat like myself, narcissism maybe?

Food: Basically anything and everything when I'm out, when I'm home or packing lunch I try to keep it healthy. Ribs and chicken wings, cower in fear! Nothing is too spicy! I also like sushi and Indian food and know some amazing places for them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Good Food; I could do without bad food.
-Friends; Talking to myself is no fun, I already know what I'm going to say. Friends make everything more fun and provide a distraction while B team sets the charges on the vault.
-Elaborate Beverages; Cocktails, tea, I add fresh lemon juice to sprite because I think it's not trying hard enough on its own.
-Humor; Arguably the only thing keeping me sane, or alternatively, the only thing keeping me arguably sane.
-The Internet; Because I couldn't carry maps, thousands of pages of information, and an endless source of pictures of cats and pugs otherwise. Reddit should come with a warning label.
-A comb.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Environmental issues, the direction mankind is headed, story ideas, architecture and design... How it's possible to be an idealist and a cynical pragmatist at the same time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working, on Saturdays I'm usually down in Miami checking out free art stuff and trying new restaurants, or at home working on the novel I'm co-writing. I'll go out just about any night though, I'm a night owl.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This profile is named after a fictional country I used to imagine for fun, ask me how you can buy real estate there!

I can't swim but I love snorkeling, if I ever end up on an international flight over open ocean I'm taking the snorkel on my carry-on and I don't care what anyone says. A road trip to somewhere with snorkeling would be amazing :)
