My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! My name is Kevin and I'm relatively new to the Burlington area. I tend to work a lot so the social scene has been a bit lacking so here I am!

I am a "nerd". I enjoy many things that could be found at a comic con. (So could you, most likely!) I enjoy video games time to time and look forward to going to the movies, and coincidently I'm pretty good at movie trivia. I can be awkward, but in a fun way. I don't like groups where I'm forced to meet and greet because I'm an introvert. Don't get me wrong, I can "fake it till I make it" very well seeing how I'm in sales, but for "just the hell of it" is the least appealing thing in the world. It can be stressful to me. I prefere one on one conversations finding shared interests and creating good friends I can count on. I love astronomy!

I had to put that in there.... Please don't confuse the above with a person who is uninterested in being active. I enjoy being out and and about! Hiking, traveling and exploring are must haves in my life. For instance, I traveled to Asia recently! Unplanned and just because!

You? I'd like an adventurer. Think of it like food. Do you like to always try something new? Take a risk, look for a new combination? Or are you picky? Picky eaters will once in awhile try something new, but usually will fall back into routine. The love of trying new foods? Well, that's a life experience. Routine is good and important. Having a staple keeps one grounded, but if you never try that new food, well, you may be missing out. Let's be adventurers. Bond with experiences, not routine.

Oh, and I enjoy watching baseball and hockey for sports. Running is awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Focusing on a new job and living in a "new" area!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Working a lot. Road trips. High fives. Wearing flip flops. Not sitting when I pee. Not following packs. Looking to try new foods and restaurants, independent thinking, cooking from recipes, learning, retaining trivial information.... ugh this is hard...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is legitimately a mystery to me. Just how The Cardigans "Love Fool" is on right now via radio and I'm head bopping in Joy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books... just started getting back into them and focusing on classic "must reads" like 1984. I purchased many others.

I am a huge movie buff so good luck on me picking anything. I tend to love Indie flicks like "Perks of Being a Wallflower", "Michael Clayton", "Little Miss Sunshine" and recently "Chef" and "Boyhood". Don't get me wrong, a mindless blow up action flick is cool, too.

Music, well, same as movies. Lately I've been obsessed with Sirius AltNation with bands like The 1975, Grouplove, Passion Pit, M83, Haim, Bear Hands, Gin Wigmore, St. Lucia, Dirty Heads and Pepper. But in my 600 plus CD collection I have everything from Billie Holiday to Led Zeppelin to Megadeth to Smashing Pumpkins to Massive Attack to Herbie Handcock.

Food... put it this way, if there is something on a menu I've never heard of or tried, that is what I'm getting. But I try to cook when I have the time and do lots of fresh ingredients. Peking Duck closed makes me sad on the inside.

Shows: GOT, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica ( One of the best shows ever: the reboot that is), Satire news shows, The Newsroom, That 70's Show... Ask me?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Opportunity to learn and to lookup random info, ability to travel (have to use that passport more), my legs, good friends, an adventure, coconut water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately meeting new people and exploring the area more. Being in a new city in my 30's can be fun and I'm enjoying it, but it can be equally difficult to meet and greet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Seeing how I work Saturdays, low key. A movie, dinner out if the opportunity is there. Cooking. Upping any video game skills or lack there of. Reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Odd stat and not on purpose. All 5 of my significant long term girlfriends have been left handed...
