Servus! Ich bin eine Amerikanerin aus dem sogenannten Midwesten und bleibe dieses Jahr in Süddeutschland als au Pair, und freue mich total darauf! Eigentlich wohne ich in Gmund, was eine Stunde mit dem Zug von München entfernt ist. Ich kann leicht dorthin fahren, besonders am Wochenende. Right now I'm really, REALLY missing authentic, beautiful Mexican food (and boys, of course!), love Indian, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern (and would die for a good falafel right about now), tropical fruit, dark chocolate, am liking the cheese, bread and dumplings in Germany, fresh foods, spicy, most things with flavor. I live for food.

Music: lots of Latin, lately. Rakim y Ken-y, Angel y Khriz, Eddie Lover, Makano, Mexican rock, Carribbean reggaeton more than the other type recently though both are good, Frank Reyes, KUMBIA KINGS, Manu Chao, Aventura, Acrangel, Wisin y Yandel, am sometimes a deadhead, James Taylor, 90s R&B, Missy Elliott, Weezy, Ciara, Missy, Dianna Haddad, Myriam Fares, Rashad al Majid, irish dance music, djembe drums, steel drums like Andy Narell, Jan Delay, lots more. I'm all over the map.

Food!, am relatively obsessed with different types of dance, Guatamala having a 40% rate of malnutrition (example of real world issues), gorgeous men like Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, vernacular architecture, what to do in Germany since xenophobia still definitely exists here, cultural issues, how much I approve of Obama.

Locked up in a house in rural Bavaria. Wait: ideally dancing cumbia or salsa. Are there any places for that that start earlier because of a bad train schedule setup? Omg Germany... what am I doing here?
