Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If forced to describe myself using only a myriad of adjectives I
think I would say that I am caring, bubbly, driven, responsible,
easy going, generous, respectful and friendly. In something more
like prose, I love laughing until my sides ache while I also
appreciate good heart to heart conversations. I find a lot of joy
in my work, my family and friends and the little things that I
happen to notice all around me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
That's a tall order. For the past ten years I have been working in
special education, in a variety of capacities. I am currently
studying for my Masters in Speech and Language Pathology, so that I
can do more for the kiddos I work with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Giving my all in everything I do. I am also incredibly patient,
which is an asset in my work, something I also consider myself good
As for more run of the mill stuff, I somehow am really good with
though I've never officially been taught anything, I'm a great
biker (I do the Pan Mass Challenge
year), and I have been told that I am really good at baking
and I think I would

I don't really know. They would have to tell me those things and
that does not often happen. However, time and time again I have
been told that I am very friendly and articulate. Maybe those are
two of the first things people notice about me? Why don't you let
me know when you meet me...

I listen to most genres of music but enjoy a more singer songwriters
type overall. Probably because I like to sing along loudly in the
privacy of my home or car. James Taylor
is timeless and
and Dar Williams
are just two of many
other awesome singer songwriters in my playlists. Jazz
is another favorite as I
absolutely adore Peggy Lee
and Etta James
among many others. My
favorite Pandora station is the Go-Go's Radio. I of course get
hooked by catchy pop tunes every once in a while and listen to them
as a guilty pleasure of sorts on my iPod and the radio.
I am really into mystery series these days. For me though, its all
about the people so I enjoy memoirs a great deal. Finishing a good
series is a great feeling. Closing the spine of the final book
leaves you itching for more. I do though love audiobooks
. There's nothing like
being read to, even as an adult.
Hmmm food...well I love most types and am usually willing to try
new things. My favorite thing however is to cook
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family and Friends
2. Good Coffee

3. Family and Friends
4. Helping People (keeps me feeling good even when I am really
5. My Kitchen Aide Mixer (a bakers favorite accessory)
6. Family and Friends
*I know it looks like I cheated but my family and friends are that
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think a lot about other people. Whether I'm being silly and
people watching or I'm thinking of my friend who just broke up with
her boyfriend and hasn't gotten out of bed in a day and a half, I
am always thinking of others. If I am shopping, I will almost
always come out of the store with a gift for at least one other
person for no other reason except that it "had their name written
all over it". It's just who I am.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing anything from going out with friends to having family over
for dinner to turning in early after a long week of work. Maybe I
go out for a bike ride, or I drive down to the cape for as long a
weekend as I can squeeze in. Totally depends on what I'm feeling at
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Mind you we are online here and as much as I would like to trust
and assume that everyone on this site is honest and
wonderful....well you see what I mean. However I will admit that my
mosquito bites swell up like baseballs and I bruise really easily.
