I'm a down-to-earth serious student, and extremely interested in the sciences, especially the brain. I love to go to school and I enjoy learning new things. Music holds a deep place in my heart. I am constantly busy and always pushing myself to achieve success. I'm very compassionate and caring and I will go out of my way to help my friends: I'm about as loyal as they come. Honesty is my most highly valued trait and I look for it in others; I am also responsible, goal-oriented and all adjectives associated with "left-brained" and "type A." I'm in no way materialistic and not very "girly," (i.e. I dislike wearing makeup or getting dressed up); kind of atypical, I know but if you're my kind of person, it's probably what you're looking for anyway. I'm almost always happy and very rarely sad: if you see me crying, it is usually only over something very big (or maybe it's my allergies in disguise). I love to laugh and enjoy stand-up comedy. I am a die-hard Michigan fan and haven't missed a home game since I started school. I have a strong personal moral code yet I am socially liberal (sometimes my morals and those that society deems as correct do not always match up). I have a little touch of self-diagnosed OCPD, but such traits are ego-syntonic and I'm perfectly happy the way I am. I've lived through some tough times in my short life and would consider myself wise in some aspects, but I'm also a kid at heart. That pretty much sums up who I am; I like to think of myself as nice, too, so send me a message if you feel so inclined.

school, music, getting things done

I'm horribly shy at first, but my true personality does leak out over some time. I'm always smiling and I tend to have a lot of energy.

TV: Nip/Tuck, 24, Grey's Anatomy

Music: Rock, Pop, A Cappella, Acoustic, Marching Band. Cartel, Down to Earth Approach, Panic! At the Disco, The Starting Line, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Mae, Nick Lachey, Wicked and Rent soundtracks, soooo many more. I don't much like country, rap, or metal, but I do like to explore other genres and obtain more ideas with which to feed into my music addiction.

Food: everything! It's probably easier to tell what I don't like since I pretty much eat everything in sight all the time...haha. It's true if you get to know me. Anyway, I don't like Asian food (except bubble tea) and I have a low salt tolerance, but there's pretty much not much else I can think of that I wouldn't like to eat (well...maybe cow brain or pig's feet...)

Constant learning and mental stimulation, food, friends/family, my growing music library/instruments/singing, enjoyable books, contacts/glasses (I'd be pretty blind)

Life, science, the human brain/mind, search for truth, my future, school, the next thing on my "to-do" list, why the institution of religion is ultimately causing more harm than good in the current American society, politically: rights for women and LGBT people, what I'm going to eat for dinner...I don't know, I think about a lot of random topics

during the school year, it's doing homework early on and then hanging out with friends at night. I prefer hanging out to "partying." Don't worry, I still know how to have fun, it just doesn't have to involve losing my inhibitions and getting thrown up on. As of now, usually hanging out with people, or sometimes just relaxing and reading or watching something.

It wouldn't be so private if I shared it on my profile for a bunch of strangers to read, would it? Well I bet you already got that I'm pretty nerdy and proud. I'm a major band nerd, too, always have been =).

You are intelligent, out to have deep conversations and not just flings or playing with people's feelings. You must be an honest, nice person, I don't tolerate cheating or any form of abuse.

If you like music, especially a cappella, then we have something big in common already =). Ability to cook is a plus as I am a hungry girl, but not necessary. Atheism/agnosticism is nice, too - or at least not strongly religious
