My Self-Summary

What to say, what to say. I hate these things (doesn't it feel like a requisite to say you hate writing this?). I'd really rather avoid writing all this thing and let the matching algorithm work it's magic but oh well...

I'm a rather laid back person, just trying to have some fun in this world. Yeah, that sounds about right.

I'm in a phase where I've been trying out all kind of things lately like Yoga and Tai Chi and all kind of other "fitness" group exercise. I'm not quite sure what to think of these, but it's fun to do new and exciting stuff. I'm also attending bar tending school, mainly for fun and to learn the fine art of mixology, since I already have a career I like.

Other than that I like running, reading, hanging out with friends, poker, tv and laughing.

What I’m doing with my life

I moved to the bay area almost two and a half years ago now, finished my undergrad, got a job here and moved. I work down in the valley for a big tech company, commuting there every day. But I'd rather live in SF than down there, I love this city. I don't quite know where life is taking me, but I like my job and hopefully I will continue to.

My accent. Yeah, I'm a special kind of Canadian, the French kind, which means I have some accent. Even after more than 2 years in California it's still very much there. Most people can't recognize where it's from though, which always makes for a fun guessing game.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Freakonomics, The Wheel of Time series, Hyperion. Generally speaking, Sci-Fi/Fantasy and pseudo-economics books.

TV: Arrested Development, Seinfeld, The Office, 30 Rock, Family Guy, The West Wing, South Park. Yes, I listen almost exclusively to comedy, I like to turn off my brain when I'm watching TV.

Music: I tend to like a lot of different things. Recently I've been listening to a lot of musicals soundtrack, power metal, indie rock, alternative and a few other stuff. I love pandora!

Inefficiencies. When I'm bored and waiting in line for something, I always try to figure out how I could make whatever process more efficient, sometimes inefficiencies can drive me mad.

That, and conversation I will have in the future. I know it sound kinda crazy, but I often have potential conversations going on in my head.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out on the town drinking with some friends, or seeing some play/improv/comedy club.
