I recently just turned 30 ... oh no the dreaded 3-0!!! Profiles aren't my best friend hopefully I can make this somewhat interesting for whomever is reading this.

Being friends first is important to me, I think that's the basis for a great relationship. That's what I'd like to find here ... someone that I can start a great friendship with and if that relationship blossoms into something else, we'll take it from there.

I'm Filipino, but people have told me that I look white, spanish or some other mix ... you be the judge from my picture.

I considers himself very loyal and on who tries to think about others before himself ... that can be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.

Hmmm ... I'm active in playing sports, mainly volleyball, snowboarding, tennis, bowling, basketball, baseball and football. Snowboarding is one of my passions, now if we can get some decent snowfall this winter, that would be great! I usually head up to Hunter, Windham or take a trip or two to Vermont during the season. Volleyball has become one of my main sports and I'm in a couple of leagues here in NyC.

I like to spend a lot of my time curled up on the couch watching a good movie or two ... or three. Comedies, horror, sci-fi, love story, action, drama. TV shows that I watch religiously are Prison Break (was a great series!), Chuck, Heroes, Worst Weak (sad it's getting canceled), Fringe, Lost, the Office, just to name a few, I know I'm forgetting some. I hate it when shows that I get into are cancelled ... Threat Matrix, Joan of Arcadia, Commander in Chief (yes I said Commander in Chief!).

I have recently, over the past year gotten into photography and love to take pictures whenever given the opportunity, professionally or just casually. It's a starter camera but I do love my Nikon D40! People always ask what camera I'm using if they like the pictures, but it's definitely the person behind the camera who makes the pictures "likeable." I hope to upgrade to the D90 soon and get more lenses.

Another thing that I have picked up again is the guitar. I've been playing it on and off for about a year and a half, but haven't played consistently until now. Even though I can only play a certain number of chords, I love to play! My fingers just don't want to bend in the way they are supposed to for some chords!

One of my favorite things to do is to make people laugh, I like to do things, even if it's embarrassing to myself as long as it's putting a smile on someone's face.

Right now I'm just working in the litigation field and having a good time with friends and family in my free time . I've recently learned the importance of being close to your family and friends. I'm also working with a youth/church group and have a small group of teenagers that I help "mentor."

I'm also open to meeting new people and having new friends and experiences. I'm fairly open to new things, and am usually ... USUALLY ... up to try anything at least once (well not anything, there are some things I won't do). Skydiving is one of those things I definitely want to do ... soon hopefully.

I'm here looking to meet someone that like to have fun, and want to start things off as friends, then see where it goes from there.

From what people have told me, I'm a good listener and seeing things from an unbiased position, even if I'm involved in the situation.

I'm extremely good at is ... EATING! I love food! Maybe that's my tragic flaw ... but that flaw usually tastes great!

Chocolate is my kryptonite!

I'm really good at being a great friend to the ones that know me the best. I'll be there no matter what the situation is and will be there to help as much as I possibly can.

I'll be there for you when you think that there's no one else that will be, and I'll be that person that you can talk to about anything and everything.

The first thing people will notice about me is usually my positive outlook and how I'm always smiling and/or laughing ... and if I'm not, I'm trying to make other smile and laugh.

I think that's what they notice??? Could be wrong.

Well maybe they also notice my ears and how they stick out a bit ... I don't think they stick out that much anymore but when I was a kid, that's what everyone noticed first. I even tried to tape them back and put a hat over my ears to keep them in place ... yeah none of that ever worked.

Favorite books include Small Miracles, The Last Lecture, Night ... well it's a short list because I don't really read a lot.

As for movies, The Abyss, The Usual Suspects, Step Brothers, Old School, The Notebook (yes I said it!), The Shawshank Redemption, Indiana Jones (all of them!), X-Files, UP in 3D ... hmmm this list is going to be quite long so I'll leave it at that.

Food ... wow that would be a long list! Chicken parm, chicken corden blue, spaghetti, KFC (original recipe), Pizza Hut breadsticks, Grays Papaya, chicken pot pie, rice (fried and steamed), gyoza, dumplings, bacon, hot dogs, brownies, cookies, cheesecake ... alright that's enough for now. I'm guessing you get the idea that I love food!

Usually hanging out with friends trying to find random things to do ... one of the best things to do is trying to find new restaurants or "hole in the wall" places that are great!

Staying in and watching a movie or two is great too. Blockbuster/Netflix night, or just digging through my Blu-Ray collection and watching something that I've seen a few dozen times never gets old!

There are other Friday nights when I'm getting ready for a trip out of town, wherever it may be ... and also getting ready for snowboarding trips!

I like watching infomercials ... if I stay up late enough and there is nothing but the slew of infomercials, I will end up watching them one right after the other. Maybe it's the amazement of how great the products look like they work on tv ... just glad I've been able to restrain myself from buying the things I see!

Well with the exception of the Shamwow ... it really works!

You're looking for a good friend, who could possibly be more, someone who is old fashioned and does open the door for you, will pull out your chair, cares about your opinion, likes to listen and who just wants to have fun with someone who can also be a lot of fun.
