OK, let's answer these in turn...
If I'm honest, I'm not much of a book worm I do have a few
autobiographys on my iBook shelf, Stephen Fry, Simon Pegg, Steve
Jobs, but I've never really been one for zoning out to a good book,
but I love those who can. That doesn't mean I can't hold my own in
a conversation about literary figures though!!
Movies I do love, all kinds, from action to comedy, drama and
suspense to scifi and fantasy! I'll watch anything with Simon Pegg
in, Scott Pilgrim vs The World is a movie I could watch any day of
the week, Gross Pointe Blank and High Fidelity are always classics,
but do enjoy a good British movie. But I'll watch anything if the
company is good.
I don't get a huge amount of time to watch TV these days (much more
to be doing in London), but there are a few things I love to
watch... Currently addicted to how I met your mother and big bang
theory. I do love a bit of Sherlock, blackbooks and spaced when I'm
in the mood, and have had past addictions to Chuck, QI, Family Guy,
Leverage, suits, IT Crowd, and BSG so I guess I do have a little
passion for a few of the geekier shows, (new girl has been playing
the house the house mates more than once, and must admit I like)
but I won't force them on anyone (housemates will testify I'm
sure!). I tend to like a nice night in with a marathon and a bottle
of wine on occasion.
I'll be the first to admit, I'm a bit of a music luddite, I'll
happily listen to most things on the charts along with a huge
library of my own. I have spotify running most of the day in my
office, and my iPod is full of some very random stuff (From
Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Caro Emerald, David Guetta, Gotye and Imelda
May through to Madness, Rage Against the Machine and the Rat Pack)
... I've done my fair share of live events and a couple of
festivals, and still enjoy going. As for bands and genres, I can
pretty much sit and listen to most things if I'm in the mood.
As for food, I'm a meat eater in all forms, love to cook for people
(can cobble together a very good Sunday roast), and that's always
good fun after a few drinks (YouTube My Drunk Kitchen!). Though
counting calories may not be a strong suit ;) (What's the fun in
that any way!)
