My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The Internet informs me than my Myers-Briggs personality type is INFP. Famous INFPs apparently include Lisa Kudrow and fictional character Wesley Crusher from Star Trek. That makes sense. Phoebe was my favorite character on Friends, and when I start rambling, I subconciously visualize Patrick Stewart saying "Shut up Wesley."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
When I was a child, I wanted to be (in order of preference) a secret agent, an astronaut, or a dinosaur. So far those haven't proven to be viable career choices, and I've ended up as a software developer turned webcomic artist turned lawyer turned startup founder instead. I'm still optimistic about getting superpowers one day though.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Walking long distances. Except on sand. I'm not a long-walks-on-the-beach kind of guy. Beaches are terrible to walk on. They're especially terrible to run on.

Getting along with other people's pets. This is the optimal situation really. I get to play with someone's dog or cat and that someone gets to scoop poop.

Standardized testing. Surprisingly, this isn't all that useful post-graduation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am, in fact, not Batman.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Ender's Game, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Does Calvin and Hobbes count as a "book"? I really like Calvin and Hobbes.

Movies: Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Wall-E, Fight Club, the original Robocop, Guardians of the Galaxy

TV: Futurama, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Arrow, Babylon 5, South Park

Music: Lady Antebellum, Eminem, Imogen Heap, Paramore, Hans Zimmer, David Guetta, Linkin Park, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

Food: I eat all the foods, but macaroni and cheese and buffalo wings hold a special place in my heart. And stomach.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
* Comfortable shoes
* Coffee shops
* Something to doodle on
* Something to doodle with
* Bullet points
* A towel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
* whether a robot will replace my job
* how to build a robot that will replace my job
* the use and abuse of multiple inheritance when writing automated unit tests for web applications (fascinating stuff, I know)
* law and politics
* what I should eat for dinner
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing the same thing I do every night -- trying to take over the world!

any of the following sound fun:
* Visiting the California Academy of Sciences
* Spending a day at Dave and Buster's
* Hiking through a Redwood Forest
* Hanging out at a coffee shop and making up stories about the people walking past
* Wandering around a random neighborhood that neither of us have been to before

Or just message me if you feel like it. I'm a guy, and I don't look like Ryan Gosling. My OKCupid inbox is fairly manageable.
