My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tough question! I feel like someone is holding a microphone in front of me and asking, "So tell us a bit about yourself, impress us." Why don't I tell you some of the things my friends notice about me?

I was born in Bangladesh but I am more "westernized" than most Americans (and yet I could tell you the history of South Asia from memory - if you've got a few hours). I am not religious at all (I believe that you don't have to be religious to be a good person), but I am interested in religion (learning more about Judaism now). I am always excited about life and can put a positive spin on pretty much anything: computer stopped working? Opportunity to buy a new one. Flight delayed? Chance to grab a nice meal. Weather too cold? Practice for the Antarctica trip.

Yes, Antarctica - I am going there in December. And Argentina. Also going to Israel and Jordan in a couple of months (very excited!). And taking my mom and sis to the UK, Switzerland, and the Greek Isles in late summer. Yes, I love to travel (but who doesn't?).

We would be perfect for each other if:

You are a kind, smart, adventurous woman who believes in love. You are honest. You know when to hold your ground and when to compromise. You have empathy (more than anything else, the one quality that would make the world a better place if people have more of it).

I find women who are successful at and happy with what they do to be irresistibly sexy. Apparently, some men are afraid of successful women - baffles me every time!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living, loving, laughing, traveling. I love my job but I sometimes fantasize about going back to school - ideally to Stanford, teaming up with a techie, and starting a startup. I think I will do that someday - life is too short!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Living life, being happy, and enjoying every moment

- Traveling and creating the perfect travel plans
The first things people usually notice about me

How tall I am (for a Bangladeshi, at least!).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A few of my favorite books off the top of my head are: The Millenium Trilogy, The Harry Potter series, The World is Flat, The Prophet, The Alchemist, Steve Jobs. I just finished re-reading "Ender's Game."

Here are some of my favorite movies: Love Actually (I love this movie!), Meet Joe Black, Bicentennial Man, Ocean's Eleven, The Shawshank Redemption, Crash, Gladiator, Idiocracy (I fear what is portrayed there could become the reality some day), and Lord of War.

Some TV shows I like are The Good Wife, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones (season 4, yay!), Hustle (A great BBC show - think Ocean's Eleven on steroids every week), and Suits.

Favorite Music: I have an eclectic taste in music, and I like a little bit of everything.

Favorite Food: I am a foodie, and I would try almost anything once. I absolutely love Thai food, Indian food, Turkish food, South African food, Pizza, any fusion food, and pretty much any dish with meat in it. My three most favorite restaurants are in Prague, Montreal, and Portofino.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I am assuming I get some freebies, like air, water, food, family, love, etc. So if we rule out all those answers, I would say I value the following things very much: My passport, a computer with a fast Internet connection, a nice shower with hot water ... actually, wait, if I had to, I guess I could live without these. Growing up in Bangladesh, we had no hot water - I survived :) Take a step back - look at some of these questions and our answers again. How unbelievably lucky are we to say we "cannot live" without a passport or an iPhone?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I want to be remembered when I die, and what I must do today to be remembered so.

I also spend quite some time thinking about where I want to travel to next. I have a personal rule of visiting 5+ new countries every year - I have been to about 35 so far. My vacation planning for 2014 is already done, and I am now thinking about 2015.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am generally either having dinner with friends or curled up in bed reading a book / watching a movie. Of course, there are some exceptions like two summers ago when I partied all night at a club in Budapest with free-spirited Hungarian women and men to the music of Edward Maya! Or last summer when my sister, two friends, and I partied with an Italian bride and a group of Italian bridesmaids at a gay bar in Rome (long story that can some day be made into a mini Hangover 4!).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Umm, write to me and if we click, perhaps we will share some secrets over a drink ;)
