I really only have a (new) profile because I'm insanely curious and this site has become a habit.

I will probably use here for meaningless rambles, as habits go.

I am really really (really) pleased+satisfied+amazed-at-times-still with my S.O., so I'm just not looking for attractions.

Though other types of relationships/buddy-doms/friendships are welcome, especially idea buddies for writing, books, or art!

I'm pretty obsessed with my cat in a we-must-be-soul-mates-she's-so-much-like-me-and-we-bond-so-well kind of way.

My family and S.O's have talked to me about us having a seclusion, almost exactly an "you two against others" element. My Monkey/boyfriend says he is "like a step father" for how I mediate and defend her.

When I see cats outside I want to pet them, and most let me. I get like a child in a candy shop/toy store/ just really giddy and I pretty much squeal.

One of my parents' many (count:10) cats (Rex AKA Snake) doubles as "my hat." He lets me swoop him up and put him on my shoulders and head and walk around. Yes, I know it's childish, and fun.

So, you see my zeal for felines. I'm okay with dogs; I just don't like them near as much. They are kind of like... Other people's kids when you don't want your own. They can be nice to visit/spend some time with, but you don't really want to spend all your energy/time with them.

As you can tell by the comparison, I don't want kids. I want freedom; and I have nieces and a semi-irresponsible sister who's mother to them. I have dealt with them enough to know. Sometimes [a lot of the time] little kids can be pure torture.

When I was a child, I had a stuffed gorilla I deemed "Mr. Monkey." I loved Mr. Monkey... We danced, spinning in circles, holding hands. Mr. Monkey (the stuffed gorilla) flew off his arms. After many surgeries, reattaching his arms (my mom sewing him back together), Mr. Monkey Died.
