Hi. I'm currently back in school for the first time since 1981. My hobbies would include watching movies, either at home or out, and doing homework (just kidding, it's not a hobby but takes more time than one). I'm in a 2 year program, then hopefully I can start putting it to work, then work on a 4 year nights and weekends. I am currently on unemployment while I'm in school, but I'm not looking for someone to support me. I went to work one day and after 22 years was told I wasn't needed anymore. Friends have told me not to include that, but I prefer to have things in the open rather than you finding out later. I believe in honesty, and if my potential match doesn't want to get to know me because of it, I'm probably better off for it. My taste in music generally runs 60s-80s (Beatles in particular, with the occasional 90s or newer. I can't dance to save my life, maybe you can be the one to change that? I like comedies, sci-fi, not a big fan of "reality" shows. Most of my reading now is from textbooks, but I like mainly sci-fi, Stephen King, humor, things along that line. I like to walk around the boulevard (weather permitting), not so much the mall anymore. I like checking out flea markets, yard sales, places like that although it's much more fun with someone else. I am loyal, funny, and loving

Right now I'm back in school to get an Associate's degree in accounting. I eventually plan on turning that into a Bachelor's.

being a one-woman man. Of course being a red-blooded American male means I look, but never touch. I also don't care if my partner looks, in fact I'll probably point a few guys out to her.

I have no idea, but I wish someone would tell me. That I'm shy at first but then will talk your ear off? That I don't hold back embarrassing details of my life and I can laugh at myself about them?

I like reading books by Stephen King, although I've been mostly reading textbooks lately. For movies, I prefer comedies, although I'll watch horror, sci-fi, adventure and some other genres. I've seen Star Wars too many times for some people. For music, I prefer the 60s to the 80s rock and pop. I don't really care for rap and hip-hop, opera, classical, but I will listen to some country. Food, what's not to like? Except I can't cook, so I either have to depend on the kindness of others, eating out, or something that can be popped in the oven or microwave. Faves are Italian, Mexican, and good old burger and fries. Don't really care for seafood, anything with nuts in it, and some veggies.

Food. Clothing. Shelter. Companionship. Enough money to live on. A purpose.

the future and how to get there. Why I never had kids. When I meet the right one for me, will I know it? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Where do some of these random thoughts come from?

Home. I don't like doing things alone so I tend not to go out.

I can still be a geek and if you look at some of my boxes in storage you'll see what I'm talking about.
