My self-summary
I don't like to live inside the box, so you can only imagine how hard it is to try to fit my whole life in this one. I am a cynic about all things love, especially dating sites. Yet here I am, just trying to figure everything out.

Everything about me is multi-dimensional, and I am not a big fan of black-and-white answers. Life is one big gray area.
I have a love hate relationship with labels.
What I’m doing with my life
Musical Theatre Major, Gender Studies minor. Changing the world in every little way I can. Learning ASL, obsessing over LOTR, writing poetry, researching random psychological disorders, learning and observing the human condition, questioning everything, fighting for LGBT+ rights, treating everyone equally, and singing at every chance I get.
I’m really good at
Messing up and solving Rubik's Cubes, reciting lyrics to songs I haven't heard in years, and spewing random facts.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice. I'm just really loud, always. And I sing constantly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There are so many but I guess we can just start scratching the surface.

Books: The Great Gatsby, Anthem, Harry Potter, Uglies Trilogy, Ender's Game, Looking for Alaska, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Girl Interrupted. I love Dystopian Fiction, John Green, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and poetry (especially T.S. Eliot and John Keates).

Movies: LOTR Trilogy, Harry Potter, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Perks of Being A Wallflower, Inception, The Social Network, Pitch Perfect, Girl Interrupted, Slumdog Millionaire, Mean Girls, Silver Lining Playbook.

TV Shows: American Horror Story, House M.D. (RIP), Body of Proof, How I Met Your Mother, Sherlock, Avatar The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Grey's Anatomy, Orange is the New Black.

Music: Broadway is basically the blood in my veins. But those opinions are personal. I love listening to the playlists of my friends. I respect all forms of music that are creative and original. I pretend to avoid mainstream stuff only to find myself falling in love with it anyway. Currently obsessing over the new Panic! album.

Food: I don't discriminate.
The six things I could never do without
1. The Complete Works of Stephen Sondheim
2. Caffeine
3. Instruments
4. Fountain Pens
5. Buzzfeed to keep me procrastinating!
6. Memory foam
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Gender politics, linguistics, societal constructs, the theatre industry, and how little I have figured out in the grand scheme of things. I also find myself constantly debating the moral validity of this account.
On a typical Friday night I am
On Tumblr or spending time with friends. Some nights are an adventure, and some are my time to recharge.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am totally addicted to Flamin' Hot Cheetos.

You should message me if
You want to know more, or ever feel a little quirky or awkward. Chances are, we already have a lot in common.

PRO TIP:
If you want to tell me that you're "into big girls" or "don't have a problem with curvy women", don't. It's not a compliment. You shouldn't have to put a disclaimer on your explanation for messaging me.
