I believe that we all need to lighten up and have more fun. I tend to get very earnest about things - so maybe I am just talking about myself! I love to be out in nature, to plant a garden, do yoga, laugh about silly things, cuddle on a cold day, to cook a fabulous feast and eat it with friends, read mindbending books and watch movies that make you say, "Wow, look at that shot!" I like farmer's markets, and road trips. I love animals and spontaneous conversations. I like making friends and humming to myself (silly songs which drive my co-workers crazy.) I love gardens, and flowers and history and music and art.

I used to be a great seeker of knowledge when I was younger - you know, meaning of life stuff. And I was pretty intense about it! But you know that phrase - "The most important you will every learn is how to love and be loved in return" - it really spoke to me. Is developing love in one's life more important than developing an understanding of the way things work? Maybe....I have found that more and more, I admire people who are geniunely kind and compassionate over those who are incredibly smart about something. Wow, have I been trying to find the wrong type of guy?

Sure, it is important to be mentally compatible, but at the end of the day, it is the man who can feel things deeply that truly speaks to me. I seek a person who can be vulnerable and open with their feelings, who is not afraid of the extreme risk that comes from being fully present and expressing love.

Yeah! I am happy to say I am doing my life's work now - developing and growing a compelling, socially impactful non-profit that is going to help change the world!

In terms of Music, I need a little help - haven't been to a concert in a while and I need to get hip! Food - wow, what don't I like would be more the question :). I love to cook, and eat out - every ethnic cuisine imaginable.

Good Grief! What a question - they don't mean literally, do they? I like to think I can live without anything but the bare essentials, if I needed to...

I love:

hot baths...I am nuts about hot baths, showers, hot tubs, stream rooms....I am a very happy camper after a hot bath (and you can't pick a fight with me if you tried, I am so mellow and content) :)

good tea - a good cup of tea is the stuff of heaven - but it has to be the good stuff.. made the right way:)

good books, music, and film - it is hard to imagine life without the incredible sensory inputs from your fellow man

soft things - I love textures! I love silk, warm super soft socks, quality rugs, kitten fur, and other singular sensations

the internet - I can't believe this is on my list but having the world's collective consciousness at your fingertips is such a thing!!! I used to be a library hound when I was a kid (okay, I used to be a nerd), the web is like the world's biggest library, at your fingertips...I am fascinated.

really yummy food - I have eaten enough crap to realize I don't function well on it...I need fresh produce and tasty creations to function well!

the meaning of life, why we exist, what cool movie is out, if we are really all Muggles in some shape or form, why cheese tastes so good when it is really just mold.....

At my gym where I luxuriate in the steam room till I can't stand up straight anymore :)

I still watch cartoons and really enjoy them! Pixar rocks :)
