I'm a 48 year old polyamorous bisexual woman, happily married to a wonderfully bisexual and polyamorous man, cernnunos. We've had some serious and a few not so serious relationships in the 17 years we've been together. We currently are seeing an incredibly lovely couple who are now living in the Netherlands (rev_dr_ace and eric4211), and life is a happy place. On the Meyers-Briggs tests I always come up an ENFP (except once, when I got an ENFJ; I was having a bad day at work...) I'm a visual artist, love sculpture and 3D art especially, have recently been seen making things with PMC, creating graphic images in Photoshop and Illustrator, and up to my elbows in tie-dye. I'm in a band with my incredibly talented partner, called Gaia Consort - which recently has become Bone Poets Orchestra, and I get to design the album covers, logos, posters and the like (among other things). Aside from the music and art, I work in the computer software industry (but am thinking seriously about changing fields), read voraciously, love reading aloud to children and/or adults (I've read the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy aloud, three times), play computer games (I LOVE puzzle games, like the Myst series, and adventure games like Aveyond), and drink way too much coffee. I also love to cook, though recently I've been enjoying mostly lower-carb stuff; finding it can be a pretty tasty diet, but not taking it too seriously. I find art supplies difficult to resist, and love exploring new mediums of artistic expression.
I grew up in the Olympic National Park, so the rainforest is the place that feels most like home to me. I love camping and hiking, though I don't do enough of either, and love to go into the woods and listen, and remember that trees are living beings who just have a different timeline than we...
Politically, you won't find me ranting on a streetcorner, but that doesn't mean I don't have very strong views. I'm unhappy at the political climate of my country, feel that the changes we're making now are just baby steps, there's so much more we can do - I want to be a part of that change, and I feel it's important to be conscious of our lives and actions, and how even in small ways we can affect our worlds with our actions and choices. I wish more people used their native intelligence more actively, and aspire to do that myself.
I am artistic, empathetic, and intuitive
