Lately the best compliment I can give a girl is:
"I like that you give a normal vibe."
I say this with a little bit of sarcasm but sadly this is true.

I feel Internet dating is like the beginning of D*ckinson's Tale of Two cities. It really IS the best of times and the worst of times.

Let me elaborate. I meet two different types of girls here:
Those are too busy to date the old fashion way and truly wonderful but not ready to settle down.
The highly intelligent, mostly functional, but otherwise emotionally or mentally unstable.

I want more! I deserve to be happy and I want to make you smile as we find bliss together. The girls I have met leave me undecided and wanting something better. I want someone that I will fantasize about every waking hour and I want to be distracted with glee. Since I have not met this girl yet, let me be clear in what I am looking for;

I would like to meet someone that matches all or most of the below traits:
No crazy piercing
Ideally between the ages of 24 and 35
Height between 4’11“and 5’7”
Opinionated and willing to speak her mind (I will still disagree at times)
Christian friendly
Well read
Fit with some curves
Likes being outdoors
Non-Smoker preferred
Likes ethnic food (Thai and Vietnamese)
Of different background or race then me

I am not perfect nor do I expect perfection from you. I look for potential beauty over actual beauty. I believe flaws transform into endearing traits and should be embraced and not hidden. I want someone with a strong identity that can peacefully disagree with me. I am not looking for a mirror image of myself but someone that contrasts me in a complementary way.

Here is some information about me.

For the most part I am attracted to girls that are “attractively flawed”. Silly, goofy, plump, excessively cerebral, short, geeky, shy, bratty, awkward, guarded, or hyper it really does not matter as long as your “flaws” make you interesting to me in a “different way”. I am NOT looking for a female version of myself, but rather someone that contrasts and complements me in a POWERFUL way.

If you uber-good looking and require men to buy you stuff, please get in the back of the line. The best I can offer you is friendship, I really don’t have time to date people like you :-P

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not falling when skiing, falling when skiing, not getting hurt when I really should, not fearing being wrong, and other random skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I might say something that you might not expect. I'm quite open, honest, with a sarcastic wit. Some love it and some hate it. Still once people get to know me, most respect me for not hiding behind "Political Correctness".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Non Fiction, books about human interactions, books for work (yay), spy/cold war novels, and my never ending twitter news feed.

Movies: Anything with dialogue over action.

Music: Alternative, Latin, and classical for the most part.

Food: I eat healthy with inspiration from asian, middle eastern, and indian cooking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Air, water, food, shelter, someone to talk to, and a car with gas in the tank.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How am persecuted for my political test scores. Let me take a moment to clarify some of my views.

Yes I do lean right of center, but relate more to the Libertarian camp. You can't legislate people behavior, and few people in government know little about running a successful business. In short government should stay out of our life, and interfere with commerce minimally.

That said, when it comes to energy, natural resources, and the environment I lean left.

I feel anything that improves this nation's energy independence is a good thing. Wind, solar, bio-fuels, and other domestic sources of power would allow us to send less money to politically unstable parts of the world, and would reduce our national trade deficit.

More importantly, nearly all these alternates pollute less. A NICE side benefit for importing less oil.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I never had a typical Friday night. I'm just as likely to do something social the other 6 days of a week. Salsa dancing anyone?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am really on here looking for friends.... no really! I can find girls to date quite easy. The thing I want more then anything else is lasting female friendships.

You like the fact that I look for potential beauty over actual beauty. You believe that flaws transform into endearing traits and should be embraced and not hidden. You have a strong identity and can peacefully disagree with me. And you feel we contrast in a complementary way.

BTW if you don't feel the above is true, friendship could be an option.
