I really hope to meet someone who enjoys being goofy and recognizes that growing up doesn't mean you have to stop doing some of the things you enjoyed when you were younger. In fact, if you enjoy, agree with, or have asked yourself multiple things that you see below, we will probably get along fairly well:
* summer days on the front lawn in a kiddy pool filled with beer is an acceptable way to spend a day off
*unplanned trips to the coast or mountains should happen more than they do
*bike rides! (I have a car, don't worry.)
*I bet I can eat that in one bite…
*witty banter is the best
*I wish I had an excuse to dress up in fancy clothes more...
*certain games with friends have somehow had all of their rules adapted
*hole in the wall restaurants are great
*Timbers games should be spent in the middle of the crowd, not on the outside where nobody cheers...
*humor is very attractive and you should spend a good part of your life laughing
*you should build at least one pillow fort a year
*When did I get too big for a slip-n-slide AND can I just put them end to end to make a super slip-n-slide?
*backpacking year round
*Can I make that?
*everyone should know at least one cheesy joke off the top of their head
*wishing your friends would send you more stupid pictures with their phones
*did my mom give away all of the VHS movies we used to own?
*exploring the city/restaurants
*brunch should be served all day
Anyway, that is a random group of some things that sound fun to me at the moment. I think a lot of people pretend to be more serious than they are when they first meet people because they are guarded. I'd rather just skip that part if we could.
I recently moved out to the suburbs, so I spend a lot of time at my favorite coffee shop where I am usually making lesson plans or thinking about what sort of project I want to work on next. I just found out that they opened a taproom in the area, so I imagine I will be spending more time there in the future...it will probably be financially draining, and I'm okay with that.
I like to get into the city at least once a week where I can spend time with friends or grab some delicious food/drinks. I would like to explore more local shows, but the friends I know who are into music listen to a lot of heavy metal which I don't really enjoy. I also love catching a stand up show, Timbers game, festival, or pretty much anything that can get me out of the house.
Yup...that's me more or less. Oh, and I have that ESTJ thing workin for me too if that tells you anything.
