My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A very good friend of mine described my flamboyant nature as a paradox. Apparently I'm a 'very feminine boy with discrete bouts of intense masculinity that arise out of nowhere'. I don't know what he means either. I mean, I only like to have my cake, and wrestle it too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living in the JD fantasy land, with many a chocolate bears.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Wearing bright coloured clothes with animals on them. Colour-coding said colours into a rainbow for ease to make the first important decision of the day.

I also once beat one of the best Street Fighter players in the world in Smash Bros. Melee. That still counts, right?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I dish out the best ducking hugs on the planet. I will squeeze all the negativity out of you. And not charge a single dollar for it!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Shows - The Wire

Games - Mirror's Edge, Super Mario Galaxy, Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Yoshi's Island.
(As you can tell, platformers are my passion)

Music - Japanese NuJazz turns me into a bubbling mess of excitement. Beware, as I become incredibly vulnerable to breaking out into a mess of flailing limbs. Also super interested in Progressive Metal and Jazzhop.

Podcasts - Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, Planet Money, Reasonable Doubts, RadioLab, Freakonomics, 1UP Yours (RIP), GFW Radio (RIP)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Constant. Auditory. Stimulation.

My mind is incredibly restless, and requires something to focus or gravitate its energy to at all times. If you see me alone, I'm plugged in. It may be futile to try and disturb me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Ways to explain things in a more natural and understandable matter. I love reflecting on ordinary day-to-day events and using them as an opportunity to teach an invisible school class about science (or any other concept, really). In another universe, I'd probably be a teacher.

Also, about Biblical historical criticism. Despite being a convinced atheist, I love love love learning about honest academic historical literature we have on its formation and development.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Like most people, some weeks I feel extroverted, and others I'm introverted. I might go dancing. Or relax with drinks with friends. Spend a night playing video games. Watching a lecture on a topic I'm interested in. Playing Magic: The Gathering. Cycling down the local river.

But probably not doing backflips. I'm still working on that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I had a childhood toy was a fluoro-pink pretty unicorn. I used to sleep in bed with it and stroke its mane. It had a sparkly silvery horn at the top. I honestly don't know why my parents bought that for me, or who donated the toy to me. But it was my favourite. Hence my username.

Nobody knows about this, so let this be our little secret, mmmkay?

- You picked Bulbasaur as your starter! If you picked Charmander, then I'm afraid we've got a little rivalry.

- You have a favourite word. Or you'd like to ask me for mine. Let's share!
