My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I try to make everyone's day a little more surreal

Music is a huge part of my life, but I do have lots of other interests. I enjoy learning to play different instruments and I plan to collect instruments from around the world throughout my life. I love pretty much any kind of live music, and I play drums in a band. I tend to go to a lot of jazz and classical concerts because of my job but I'm also always up for a night of indie bands at Rockwood or a trip down to Bonnaroo in June.

I run for exercise and when the weather is nice I try to work out every day. Gonna be running the Brooklyn half with a team of coworkers in the spring and I'm thinking about training for the marathon next year. I'm a total nerd for anything about outer space and I read a lot of books and watch documentaries on the subject. The natural history museum is one of my favorite places in the city.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I get people tickets to concerts ... that's literally my job!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Solving puzzles, getting places without getting lost, memorizing things. Also I've never lost a game of mario kart 64.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am very happy all the time

Books: I read a lot of non-friction so I enjoy stuff by Michael Lewis, Malcolm Gladwell, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Richard Dawkins etc. I particularly enjoy books on economics and entrepreneurship as well as physics and outer space.

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Caddy Shack, My Cousin Vinny, Amadeus, Lean on Me, Bad Santa, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Spinal Tap, Princess Bride ....

TV: COSMOS, Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, Daily Show/Colbert Report, Best Thing I Ever Ate (and most other food network shows), not really TV but I enjoy TED talks.

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. A few of my consistent favorites are: The Beatles, Phish, The Band, Led Zeppelin, Paul Simon, Mozart, Beethoven, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, John Williams, Alan Menken, Irshad Khan, Anoushka Shankar, Oliver Mtukudzi

Favorite food is definitley mac and cheese. I also love appetizers at Japanese restaurants.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Live music
A book
Hot tub
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
why things work the way they do. Also why a group of individually smart people will collectively make stupid decisions.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually starting the night with some live jazz and then off to somewhere else after that .... yes I'm very classy like that :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
During the summer I often wear a bathing suit around the house. Also I take online courses for fun because I enjoy learning about different subjects.
