Like most people, I hate writing these. Nonetheless, here goes:

In a few words I would describe myself as eccentric, compassionate, and intelligent. I'm also very complex...with all sorts of apparent paradoxes. For example, I'm very strong willed but also soft hearted. I'm passionate about politics but also respect diverse viewpoints. Most of the time, I'm working too hard (for a good cause!) and generally I'm too serious, although I do have a sarcastic streak.

I'm pretty (ok, very) inexperienced with relationships, but I do know how to treat people well. I'm looking for a nice girl, who wants to build something serious. I think trust, respect, and patience are essential and you should too! I want to meet someone who I can have deep conversations with and generally be comfortable around. Finally, I want to meet someone who compliments me (in a ying and yang way, not as in saying flattering things all the time!). If this is you, let me know (: (I tend to be a little shy with girls...)

I teach physics to high school freshmen (lots of fun!) at a really great school. I also just finished grad school (go Sun Devils!). Recently, I’ve spent a great deal of time/effort focusing on my career, but now I’d like to meet people, explore the bay area (excited to have just moved here!), and generally enjoy life!

Problem solving, understanding other people, thinking outside the box, board games, physics/math, mispelling, and debate.

Depending on the situation, people either think me very quiet or very opinionated. I suppose this is because I always have an opinion (I'm passionate about many things...), but I don't always share it.

As weird as it sounds, I love epic soundtracks. Greenday is pretty good too. Some of my favorite shows ever are (was) Battlestar Galactica, Breaking Bad, Lost, Kings (why oh why did they cancel this!?!) and the Colbert Report.

The last things I read was Ender in Exile by Orson Scott Card (so good!). I also just finished a bunch of old and somewhat random books I got from the used bookstore at the library!

I’m not hugely into food, but I do enjoy Chinese, ice cream and pizza.

I try not to be materialistic, but I couldn't go without my computer.

Everything and anything, but politics, people, education, history, economics, leadership and physics especially.

I enjoy casual Fridays (teaching is tiring!). I’m definitely game for Saturday adventures though!

I'm a "slow to warm personality" which means, I'm certainly not putting anything too private on here!
