My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I decided to leave sunny California for Melbourne and try it for a year. That was over 2 years ago. Obviously no regrets. I've met great people and had great experiences so far.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm Currently working in a busy restaurant/bar in Fitzroy and loving it. Great atmosphere and great co-workers. I'm hoping to leave a bit of my imprint on the Melbourne food scene.

In my downtime I like to relax. Dinner and drinks with friends and family is always nice, either at home or trying a new place.

Recently rediscovered my love for the game of Basketball. Thank you Basketball 613!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, it's one of my passions. I'm multi-lingual, I think that's pretty impressive.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a bit quiet at first but I'll eventually open up.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have a very eclectic taste for music and it varies widely. Recently discovered Nina Simone so that's been playing a lot.

Movies: All time favorites, Shawshank Redemption, Stranger than Fiction, Inception, Billy Elliot and loads more.

Books: As mentioned, I'm a foodie so a lot of my reading is food or cooking related. I've recently read Khaled Hosseini's "And the Mountains Echoed" and Chad Harbach's "The Art of Fielding". Both great. I enjoy books by Neil Gaiman, Nick Hornsby, Mitch Albom and Michael Lewis.

TV Shows: GoT, Walking Dead, Top Chef. I'm a big fan of Aaron Sorkin shows: Sportsnight, The West Wing and The Newsroom. The best mini series ever Band of Brothers.

Food: Pretty much anything and everything. Always willing try something new. Favorites, Chinese, Viet, Mexican (no offense Melbourne but you're Mexican here still has a long way to go), Burgers (ditto) I miss American food!!!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family and friends
2. Food, glorious food
3. Music, everyone's life needs a personal soundtrack
4. Humor, because life can be too serious at times
5. Good conversation
6. Technology, I'm too dependent on it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to cook next and when I should make some time to fly home for a visit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At this time, unfortunately working. But on the off chance I'm free, dinner amd drinks out or at home with friends and family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I recently tried going to the movies by myself, not as strange as I thought it would be. Actually kind of nice.
