An image of joehill I am quite pleased with myself. Thanks for the sentiment.

An image of Rob3000 There's nothing stopping you having pictures of you pets on here. It's just that there's a crazy set of rules for profile pictures and a bunch of OCD Rainman type characters who populate flagmod and freak out if they see a fork in the knife drawer.

Post the pictures of the pets in your journal, possibly along with a short message of forgiveness and understanding for those poor mental retards who know not what they do. You could even include a link to the pictures of your puppies from your homepage.

An image of atomicturtle What does "grassing me up" mean? Is that some kind of weird eurojargon?

An image of aeropagitica Place your pet photos on to a hosting site such as Flickr, Photobucket or Picasa and then link to them in a journal post. No one is a grass because they adhere to the T&Cs of the site.

Grass means informer in British slang:

An image of atomicturtle Huh. So she's basically complaining about someone narcing on her over that usual Flagmod douchebaggery of losers acting as the self-appointed internet police? I can sympathize with that. Those guys are dorks, and I disagree with Aero that they aren't "a grass." That's exactly what they are. Whiny little tattletales who rat people out over pictures/profile content when they have no vested interest in whatever random person they're attacking. They do it just because they can, and because they like the slight feeling of the power trip they get. Frankly, I hope they practice the ideology they practice here, because it'll ultimately mean they get knifed in a parking lot somewhere after having run their mouth one too many times. Good riddance to bad rubbish, y'know?

An image of Rob3000 No one is a grass because they adhere to the T&Cs of the site. I disagree. Flagging someones pet pictures is exactly the same as phoning the police to report your neighbour for smoking the occasional marijuana cigarette in their back garden for instance . Both are against the T&C's of the society that they exist in, but in both cases, the majority of normal minded people simply turn a blind eye when the offence is minor and doesn't have overwhelmingly negative consequences for other people.

It's still grassing when you report your neighbour for making fertiliser bombs in his garden shed, or your fellow Cupidista for a cock picture, even though the majority of people would agree that this was the right thing to do. In short, whether the offence is against the rules or not does not determine whether the informer is a grass. Neither does the severity of the infringement. All informers are grasses.

Never ever EVER trust anyone who says anything akin to that statement.

An image of Rob3000 *shivers* That video made me want to bomb my local government offices.

But I'm a mature mind, in control of my actions. So I went off to flagmod, and voted LA on everything that turned up i the last half hour. Even the reclining boy with his cock out. I commented that it looked like that particular one had been squirrelised.

The whole episode was quite cathartic really. I must do that again sometime.

Wow, not me! That video made me really scared of a lot of what I'm seeing on OKC. I think I'm going to start "Flagmodding" OKC members to their various FBI branches anytime I see anything remotely anti-American in their posts. Because, you know, it's my duty.

atomicturtle commented on Nov 1, 2009

An image of Rob3000 Well, if you take the video's advice, that would make everyone who ever took a photograph of a building, anyone who ever made any money, and anyone who ever asked what time they could get a flight, a potential terrorist who should be reported.

If you believe the crap in the video, then you have a duty to report anyone and everyone, unless, you conclude from the video that you are on the terrorist team yourself.
